Maybe Jason Todd is from a parallel DCAU, and he's here to warn Batman about incoming threats coming from other universes, such as an alternate universe where Bruce was replaced with Azrael, or one where instead of Jokerizing Tim Drake, the Joker Jokerized Bruce.
Maybe that's the story arc that follows after this potential Deathstroke, Hush, and Firefly storyline, and they're just doing extra early teasing.
I want this to happen. Ty Templeton or whoever is writing the story make this happen. I want this to happen.

I kinda like my little theory about how Jason Todd is actually Bruce’s long lost son. It would explain why Bruce was drawn how he was at the end of the comic. Making Jason Todd like this would kinda be the same way as they made Tim in the universe by combining two characters. Jason in this universe could be a mix of Jason and Damian. Even if this isn’t what’s going on I think it’s a fun idea to run with

Jason being having Damian's origin would be so much better than retroactively inserting him in as a Robin.
@@Elvisbackpack using Talia might work but perhaps Andrea Beaumont (The Phantasm) could work pretty well. It's probably been long enough since they met for Jason to be an adult. Plus Batman having an unknown son would make their relationship much more tragic.
@@theleonpasta7336it would be far worse actually, as current canon wouldn't allow for another robin post justice league at all. This Jason is way better then that, though it would've been fun. He fits nicely into the lost years and tnba jl time gaps and also explains Bruce's personality shifts between each show (the darker Bruce in tnba and his lightening up in justice league)

Well if 2 whole videos and a buttload of inconsistencies didn't make Teen Titans non canon, a very explicit appearance by a significantly different Slade Wilson does.
In the main continuity, Jason was taken in by Bruce and trained for a couple months, fought crime for a year and was killed by Joker. Then, a little while, like a couple months or a year, Tim became Robin by figuring out Bruce was Batman and putting on the costume and Bruce allowed him to keep being Robin later.

Fun fact: Although not canon, in the old "Teen Titans Go!" comics that DC used to publish, an unmasked Slade (Deathstroke) makes an appearance in a portrait. However, no attention was brought to it, and was most likely an easter egg.

Yeah, it was confirmed by the directors that the Penske truck was driven by the Punisher-it appears twice during scenes where it’s just too coincidental.
Watchtower Database well remember this was before the Punisher finally physically appeared in Daredevil. So by now it could be retconned since I don’t think Frank was doing things like that quite yet. But who knows it could still be accurate

Deathstroke pretending to be chummy with Batman and co. and being a hero reminded me of Beware the Batman, where he premiered by pretending to be a Harvey Dent-sponsored hero before he quickly showed his true colors.
Really enjoyed this issue. Can’t wait for the next one!

What if in this universe instead of getting killed by the joker, jason todd was the second robin who got fired early on (maybe a few weeks or months as robin at most) for being too violent and reckless. Since jason is known to usually be quite unstable, he probably would have reacted poorly to this and to later being replaced by tim. This way you could still have jason be one of batman's greatest failures by being the robin who went nuts and turned into a supervillian, without his backstory feeling like a rehash of what happens to tim in return of the joker. Great video as always, and keep up the great content!
I think When "Jason" say reboot i think that a reference to when he get a new origin(Which Is The Current & Popular Origin) because Of Crisis On Infintie Earths and During Infintie Crisis Which is a crisis and a crisis mostly a reboot during that jason got brought back from the dead thanks to superboy prime punching the timeline im not kidding this is in the comic

HA! I drew the Tim Drake Robin in a VERY similar batarang-throwing pose in the TNBA coloring book I penciled back in 1998. I'll have to ask Ty if he was perhaps looking at that when he did his Red Hood model sheet.

I love that they changed it Jason Todd White hair to be correct in the first two issues. That really bothered me I'm so happy they fixed it. I'm so happy. If you don't know red hood is my favorite character in all of fiction so I love that he has betrayed the correct way in this universe or timeline it's so confusing.

Given that alternate dimensions are not out of the question (What with Flashpoint Batman and The Batman Who Laughs), Maybe Red Hood is from another universe. That would explain his comment about Tim being more accurately called a reboot than a sequel. Maybe this version of Red Hood isn't even Jason, but an alternate version of Tim. That might be why they mirror Tim's first appearance on the fire escape. Probably not, but it's not out of the question.

Could be, there IS a Red Hood in the Batman Adventures Vol 2 comic series though, which takes place during “Justice League.”

I like the white streak and here's why race al Ghul has a white streak we thought it was cuz he was old then get hints to it's because of the Lazarus Pit and its effect that it has on people which makes them different and brings them back different indicating this difference and if you paid attention to your movie genre growing up if you ever watch Bruce Willis movie called The Sixth Sense you could see that there was a child with a difference he could see dead people and he was marked with this difference this difference was a white streak and his hair not only signifying wisdom that comes with a certain amount of age but its distinction in personality and character so with this so with this element added to our one of our favorite characters Jason Todd I am flattered by it , it actually issues a lot of distinction and now actually gives more character and Foundation instability to racial Ghul as a character being someone who has a hidden death more element as well as Jason Todd almost like they have a sixth sense a wisdom deeper inside of them and yeah maybe that's why they choose to kill and they see things in a different light than Batman does, the other side of the spectrum the yin to the yang maybe their argument is right maybe it's not? Either way makes a great Duality the characters having two extremes of the opposite sides both solidified and concrete in their beliefs through their experiences both believing they are doing good. This makes Jason Todd one of my favorite characters and all of comics I think that's why I jumped on the Winter Soldier bandwagon because here was a character in pain trying to do the right thing tormented by some evil trying to do good but in the midst of trying to be good was being used to do chaos and commit evil meanwhile looking for Redemption and freedom there's so much to love about comics so much to love about characters and I think that's why I'm Pro J-Deep... HE GAVE US A LOVED CHARACTER 😍, AND IN ALL HIS 50 + Years never had hurt anyone physically he's dressed up as one of his beloved characters Captain Jack Sparrow and went to Children hospitals he also saw Amber Heard said she was going to donate the money that she won and Johnny Depp gave it to her but not only did he give it to her but he saw that she said she want to give the money to Cherry so he donated the money to charity in her name so there's no way that he could actually get any benefit from it for donating it cuz it was an Amber heard's name deep

Although, some things have Smallville in different places, but it's ALWAYS based on Manhattan, which also exists separately. Manhattan is also the inspiration for Gotham, which is a real life nickname for New York.
Metropolis is New York during the day and Gotham is New York at night. That makes me wonder what Metropolis at night and Gotham during the day are like.

for how much i love Jason i never wanted him to appear in the animated universe and now i still dont even tho it would be cool it wouldnt make much sense in the entire timeline as Tim became Robin like a year after Dick left so unless they did the Jason Todd was Robin before Dick Grayson like in the white knight universe it wouldnt work and if Tim was replaced by Jason in the animated series then the entire thing with Tim becoming kid Joker or i guess Jason couldnt happen and they would've had to instead create multiple episodes involving Jason Todd's death to then be ressurected by the lazarus pit or something and then Jason becoming the Red Hood to then create the same thing as in the Under The Red Hood movie or the same thing as in a death in the family story which could lead into Jason killing the Joker or Joker just dies meaning that he has no way to return in Batman Beyond or they would need to make a way so Joker survives that story and then have an older Joker return now something i would inculde is like in the white knight story were Jason say "i wish i never met Bruce Wayne" for Joker to find out Bruce Wayne is Batman and i would've like for him to appear in Batman Beyond as the Red Hood who still hasn't joined the Bat Family and to be a mentor as well for Terry and maybe even Red Hood sacrificing himself to stop Joker or even kill Joker in Batman Beyond but i do get why they decided to pick Tim over Jason bc Tim was a more liked Robin and bc he had the most influence on the DC universe during his time as Robin while Jason only had influence when he was Red Hood and Dick only as nightwing

Ok so I found a comic about Batman beyond fighting Damian Wayne. I mean I know it wasn’t intended and I’m sure I’m gonna get a lot of hate but I consider the newer animated movies canon. Think about how there’s so much history between the movies, what if you watched son of Batman some time during JLU? There was mention of Ras al ghul’s body being broken beyond the Lazarus pits power, that happened in son of Batman, also many other villains died in those films. Now In justice league apocalypse war Batman was given a new suit that was 99.9% equal to Batman beyond, no cape, same colors, creates batarangs, and it flies. You will notice darkseid created it but it sought vengeance on Damian Wayne, when this comic was made Terry wore a different suit and it was more effective, however the suit took control of Terry and it started fighting Damian, it even almost killed him. It all sounds like it can tie in
