We're talking about the guy who stole god's corpse, made a sword out of her spine, killed off almost all of her children, died in battle, got resurrected 1090+ years later, and immediately went after his killers to exact revenge
if that's not final boss material, I don't know what is.

@@bunnyben87 totally disconnected from the story, completely disengages from the political plot involving Edelgard for some random ass pull of “oh look it’s the bad guy from the opening cut scene and now he’s back. And what’s our main motivation for stopping him? So Claude can end racism? It’s so fucking dumb. It’s epic, yeah, but the story arc that it concludes is so unenjoyable and feels less like one of 3 main routes and more like an alternative side route.
