@eric_moore-6126 same mistake? She actually excels at a Dancer. Like, incredibly - she's a decent healer sure, but Mercedes outperforms her easily. Same case with Linhardt. Magic, despite her unusually high crit chance - people like Lysthia exist. Keeping heals and a good bit of magic, she gains the ability for further support - plus with Dancers, you get the added bonus of the default 20+ avoid with sword, which is handy due to her Hero Relic. There's a whole breakdown explaining it better than I could on the cursed site called Reddit, and honestly, yeah it checks.

This was awesome. Admittedly these aren't the in game lyrics but this is still epic. Admittedly I never did get why the Golden Deer are the ones who get to fight Nemesis.
In all fairness, the other routes do have something else overtaking their main role, and thus, not everyone may be able to have time to build up Nemesis. Crimson Flower has the whole Edelgard vs Rhea Blue Lions pretty much has the whole relationship status between Dmitri and Edelgard and how they view each other in the age of war El set up. I'd possibly argue there might have been a possible chance for the Church route to include Nemesis, but after that gauntlet of a final boss fight? Probably would've been a bit too much for one route, even after the Church Route goes through Shambala, then possibly fighting Nemesis before the final boss of that route. And given part of the Golden Deer's early game was somewhat going through Fodlan's history, Nemesis likely made for a much fitting final boss, not just for Golden Deer, but perhaps for Rhea as well. Though those are my two cents and I can't recall every little detail since it's been ages since I played this game, so I might be off on the overall theming for the routes here.
@@TheGreatPikminZX789 I can sort of see that for the deer but it feels very feeble and it does just raise more questions due to the messy relationship between Silver Snow and Verdant Wind (and the sheer amount of "this is totally the final mission we swear this time" fatigue). I think I'm in the minority when I say this, but Rhea's the biggest victim of this entire plot. Yes she lied to a lot of people in order to rise to power, but her family was massacred, her mother killed without her knowledge (until she saw the Sword of the Creator and the Crest of Flames), and (if you side with Edelgard), the bearer of her mother's bones and heart betrays her. How do you recover your sanity from so much betrayal and trauma? You can't. Nemesis was a villain from the start. He only challenged Seiros's army out of his own lust for power and influence.
Agreed. This is why I just can't make myself side with Edelgard. It's honestly difficult to side with any one side because they're all so flawed, but that's also one of the most realistic things about this game. No matter what you do, your path is imperfect and there is no Golden Ending where everyone is happy.
while Blue Lions is my favorite storyline, Golden deer has the best ending it makes me sad that Crimson Dawn and Church route got fucked like they did, those two stories needed a bit more time cooking

Then comes your disappointment at how no other route actually gets this far
@@wolfherojohnson2766 actually Crimson Flower this sort of happens of screen
@@solgeo1296 Off Screen. That's the problem. It's cool _telling me_ that I defeated the evil mole people cult and god killing bard, but I want to actually... do it.
@@randombrit4504 which is fair its kind of funny only Azure Moon really doesn't get rid of them
@@solgeo1296 no it happens in azure moon, it just sucks how the entirety of the TWSITD are boiled down to 5 units on the corner of the final chapter. Yes, the bottom right corner of the map, with those 5 units, it’s specifically stated, that for some reason, THATS ALL OF THE REMAINING ONES.
So yeah, Fear the Deer.
A great cover that actually does more justice for the Agarthans and Shambhala than the actual game, with very impact full lyrics full of references to the game.
I only wish Nemesis' voice was deeper, but then again that would probably cause a week long sore throat.
Technically there's only 1 final bosses left of Three Houses for a cover, so wether it be Edelgard, Rhea or Byleth, I'm looking forward to that eventuality.
Yeah, since Dimitri's half of Apex was used for last year's Songtober.
Wait, byleth is a final boss for three houses?
@@thesoureevee6412 No, her daughter is.
@@thesoureevee6412 Well, the final bosses varies depending on what route you take.

the Slither chorus backing Nemesis up pushes this from amazing to fantastic to me
They are definitely really into "So ends the hope of Seiros" and "Butcher of god!" So what you will about TWSITD, but their Sunday sermons must be lit.
I love their short solo.
Sothis fell to our design, and Nabatea’s doom is nigh! So let the dark swallow the sky, the people of Shambhala rise!
For Agartha! For those who slither in the Dark! That lyric gave me chills.
Sothis fell to our design, and Nabatea’s doom is nigh.
So let the dark swallow the skies, the people of Shambhala riiiiise!
That’s my favourite.

Holy shit. Words can't decribe how magnificent this is. I can't wait to see what Juno's version is gonna have in store.
There's going to be more versions?
Juno semi-confirmed God-Shattering Star for his Song of Heroes: Wave 2, in a video where all the characters and voices were revealed. Nemesis was in that video.
All this buildup, the orchestra working harder than ever, the singing extremely powerfully, all weaving together to form an absolute banger track that will stick with you...

I know this song is supposed to be intimidating and imposing but I couldn't help but focus on how the artist drew Nemesis with some massive bonkhonagahoogs. Those are some serious dohoonkabhankoloos.
He had nothing to do in his coffin other than sleeping or bench pressing the lid.
The fuck are those
Hopes Claude: you know nemesis has a point.
Also FEAR THE DEER
I kind of like the parallelism: Claude can either become the anti-Nemesis in his more idealistic route, or he can become the new Nemesis (albeit for far more sympathetic reasons) in his more cynical route.
It's now entirely legitimate to say Claude or Nemesis is singing God-Shattering Star, depending on the timeline.
@@jord839 Claude in three houses showed that he felt it would be better if rhea was dead ( support points raised if you said it would be better off if rhea was dead and his beliefs opposed the church’s tenants he was never an ally for dimitri. @@adonaimelles2317
I've honestly alwasy agreed with Claude more than anyone else (Dmitri's story is a lot more emotional, that's why I like it more, but when it comes down to it, Claude has the best plan, sadly Edelgard is trying to use Those Who Slither to kill the church but is in turn being used just like they did to Nemesis when they are the one's to blame for her current predicament not Rhea)
I love that in this fight, you're literally fighting a Lich and his army of the dead
More of a revenant. A lich is usually a powerful mage, and Nemesis is never seen using magic. Revenants, at least in D&D are creatures kept alive due to determination for revenge, which fits Nemesis far better. Just my opinion!

*All will bow before the king of liberation*
*And all will cower who can't accept salvation*

This really makes me want more Fire Emblem content on the channel. There are so many games in the series with amazing soundtracks (Three Houses, Radiant Dawn, Fates, Shadows of Valentia, Shadow Dragon, Genealogy of the Holy War, etc.), and I know you'll be able to do them justice. Personally, I'd really like to see a more niche game like Thracia 776 get a cover.
I am honestly happy we get any at all considering how relatively niche fire emblem is
Check out Juno Songs, who often collaborates with this channel, and has covered songs for other fire emblem games! Songs of heros wave one is complete, and wave two is planned

This was beautiful.
Now to wait for the crossover where Joe Zieja comes up with his own lyrics for a Claude response.
It'd be kind of weird though, since the true lyrics for God-Shattering Star is a war rally and propaganda, telling people to take the world back from God.

Oh cool just the best song in all of Fire Emblem that's neat.
But twilight of the gods never got a lyrical cover.

This. Is. Amazing.
I didn't think I'd ever find a version of this song with actual words that would supplant the original in my eyes, but boy was I wrong.
Alex's vocals are simply astounding, carrying so much raw charisma and emotion, and the chorus has so many banger lines! The most impressive part to me is how similar the inflection (I think that's the right word) is to the original gibberish.
That was truly a God shattering star song. I loved it. Nice job turning the lyric into awesome English track to make it more awesome good job.
Every time I hear a version of this I keep picturing Claude facing down Nemesis saying "You may be the God Shatterer, But *I'M* the Star here"
The Immaculate One? Nah, Claude is the true Immaculate One
SO REAL
I noticed Marianne was a Holy Knight. Good. You didn't make the same mistake that Intelligent Systems has repeatedly made with Fire Emblem Heroes, which is forgetting Dorté.
Counter point; Dancer Marianne
@@Labyethan that's not a counterpoint, just admitting to also making the same mistake
Nemesis: "I slew a god with my own two hands"
*Looks at Lysithea*
"But that thing... it scares me"
"Sothis fell to out design
And Nabatea's doom is nigh!
So let the dark swallow the skies
The people of Shambhala rise!"
I love this part so much 😁
I was in the Golden Deer house. And God did I love this fight with the tactful Claude by my side.
I really love the line “Fódlan’s forever marked”, because it has a double meaning. Not only does it refer to Fódlan itself, being marked by all the war and stuff, but it also refers to the 10 (11) elites and himself, who forever had crests (marks)
If I didn’t know those weren’t the lyrics, I’d SWEAR that those were. They are so apt, it’s unreal.
This one sent so many chills down my spine, god.
Please do more Fire Emblem music, there are some killer tunes in this series.

Please do more Fire Emblem three houses music. Heck, make it four different musicals! one for each route, please!
Definitely would love this!
They have one in the spooktober group with dimitri and eldagard that would be a banger if fine tuned
I would LOVE to have a Three Houses musical from these guys which INCLUDES the Cindered Shadows DLC because I can JUST imagine the lyrics to "At What Cost?" when Byleth, Dimitri, Claude, Edelgard and the Ashen Wolves face against the Umbral Beast.
This one must have been really hard on your voice. Great job dude staying in the stop of your chest voice for basically the whole song. I can NOT do that. You're killing it.
Dunno why, but there is something so powerful on the line "Sothis fell to our design"
That was freaking amazing! This did not disappoint. (Though I was hoping for a line or two from Claude or Byleth...)
I agree
I refuse to belive that this song isnt going to get a 1 hour version
Well now it have one.
This final battle theme definitely made an incredible impression on me, and hearing lyrics added to it just makes it even better
"Fodlan will bow to their god...
...SHATTERING STAR!"
Such a raw introduction. Why claim to be god, when you can be the one who murdered her?
you could have knew that one of the final battles which is a group of Bandits would be the best final battle in the franchise and yes this is cannon lol
For a guy that comes out of basically no where and doesn't even appear in Three Hopes he truly made his mark with the best final boss theme in any FE game to me. In a game that already has Apex of the World that's no small feat.
@PhillipOnTakos Wait, he didn't appeared in it ? That's kind of a shame, they could have expanded on him and the Argatheans a bit more
@@infinitelegionis515 yeah they choose to expand more on the three main nations. While making other agartans more of the main villain. It's still a good game just crazy how they cut one of the final bosses.

Great work as always. respect
"There he is Claude! The CEO of racism!"
"So ends the hopes of Seiros!" Somehow that line is so perfect. 😅
There is so much amazing potential for more FE songs you could do. From the absolute masterpieces of music from Echoes such March to Deliverance or Twilight of the Gods, or songs from the older games who have yet to see modern recreations like in Genealogy of the Holy War and it’s music
You know, the fact that the god Nemesis killed was asleep because of fixing the World from Nuclear Annihilation, and well, I found this song because a UA-camr know as Rubix Raptor used the og song when he nuked an elderich god in the core of Europa in Barotrama, Point is, seems like Gods are weak to Nukes...
It's awesome to see a Three Houses song here!
Now, we have *two* Three Houses songs since this guy also did Apex.
Crimson Flower has the whole Edelgard vs Rhea
Blue Lions pretty much has the whole relationship status between Dmitri and Edelgard and how they view each other in the age of war El set up.
I suspect if Verdant Wind had more time and energy devoted during development it would feel a lot less jarring.
I wish we could’ve gotten a class similar to his in game cuz I really like the design
I’ve never played any of the Fire Emblem series, but now that I’ve heard this track, I want to go out now and buy the game!

Holy crap, this certainly isn't what I expected here, but I'm really happy to see it.
I've been waiting for another English adaptation for so long. I feel very motivated now!
"And claim the heart of the dragon divine" - most epic line ever. And I haven't even played this game (but I read about it).

I love this so much, the newest video (vs ganondorf with lyrics) reminded me of this cause of the opera
I love the kind of voice alex has, amazing vocal range and the way he holds notes! Truly amazing
No matter what you do, your path is imperfect and there is no Golden Ending where everyone is happy.
while Blue Lions is my favorite storyline, Golden deer has the best ending
it makes me sad that Crimson Dawn and Church route got fucked like they did, those two stories needed a bit more time cooking

This song always hit hard for me, but knowing the english lyrics just layers that on extra thick. Nemesis isn't just another bad guy. HE is the biggest threat to Fodlan. Screw Edelgard.
