I enjoyed the production video of the Millar’s ukes, but Mr. Lu’s performance was awesome! Millar’s Ukes are now on my list of “must try” ukuleles.
Those wonderful people, crafting this fabulous instrument, you are wonderful. Would have been nice to see a line up of all the staff involved. Thank you for your care and skill.
Fascinating, I have new found respect for my instrument!
Beautifully made and fascinating video.
Wow, I don’t even like jazz, but played like this on ukulele is amazing. I do enjoy it.
The mahogany ukulele, all the way for me. I prefer the strong, mellow tone.
The hands that design + The hands that build + The hands that play = Pure Aloha. ❤
Well I now own a long neck soprano SP210L and it has a great sound, looking forward to getting a full concert and a tenor
Such a nice video, so satisfying to watch ! I enjoyed every bit of it ! Thank you for sharing.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this, so relaxing and therapeutic. Experts definitely at work here. Has made me want a millar even more than before 😊❤
I want one ❤
Buying one because of this video ❤
Incredible video. I live in the US and just ordered my second one from England. One of the best sounding Ukes I own and at half the cost of my others. Bravo!
Amazing to see how much work goes into making these wonderful instruments
Impressive playing real artist on great sounding ukes
Fascinating what a medium size workshop can produce, bigger than Handmade but not Mass produced , so much care and attention taking to make each and every instrument, only wish i could afford one.
I love the entire video. The workmanship is amazing and the demo at the end is awesome. I particularly like the little bit he plays at about 30 minutes, and again at about 31, 32, 34, 35, 37 minutes. It looks like he’s playing C, D7, G then possibly A and A7. Anybody know what it is, or is he just noodling 😁
@daveflatters4981 we have forwarded your question to Hank Lu, the ukulele performer in the video, and this is his reply: "Thank you so much for watching and listening to my playing! I was doing a typical Hawaiian hula chord progression, which was also played by Ohta San in his video, hope you like it!"
@@WoodCulture please thank Hank Lu for this. I loved all the tunes he played but that short riff just got in my ear.
I love how he played the guiro on the ukuleles. Very talented.
Where do they sell these in the U.S. ?
Hi, it's mostly customized. You can find Millar Ukulele on facebook and contact them for further information, thanks!
Sold outside the US. You can find them at a few UK dealers that ship to the US.
I’m in the US and purchased my Millar ukulele from UK based World of Ukes. Matt took great care of me and made sure the uke made it safely to me. I don’t know if any US retailers are carrying them yet.
