When COVID-19 put the live touring industry on hold, guitar hero Joe Bonamassa did something unprecedented for his fans - he put together a one-night-only show at the iconic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN to be livestreamed for fans everywhere. That night he united people across 44 countries worldwide for a phenomenal live music presentation of his brand-new album “Royal Tea” before it was even released. The concert was re-mixed and mastered for physical release as “Now Serving: Royal Tea Live From The Ryman” on June 11th and will be available to own on CD, DVD, Blu-Ray and Double LP. The stellar performance includes 12 incredible live tracks, featuring the best from his latest studio release Royal Tea, Joe’s his 24th #1 record on the Billboard Blues chart. Royal Tea was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London and at the time of the show at Ryman Auditorium, was unreleased, so fans got to hear the new music for the very first time. It also includes 3 electrifying tracks from his 20th anniversary album A New Day Now.
Just saw him Fri night at the Ryman Nashville. He lives in Nashville now. Capacity crowd watching an incredible show. Kenny Wayne Shepard came on to do a song with him and the audience went nuts.
My son who is 17 complained that we forced him to go. After the concert was over he was aghast. We had to apologize to him for exposing him to the best music on earth.

Reese Wynans was the absolute greatest keyboard player of all time. He made Stevie Ray Vaughn and Joe Bonamassa.
I just saw them in Red Bank 2 weeks ago. I had no idea Reese played with Bonamassa. When he introduced him, I broke out in tears. I'm such a huge SRV fan, but never got to see him play. The tickets were a surprise 60th bday gift from my wife. She tells me the best part of that weekend was watching me at the concert, especially when "you looked like you'd met Santa" when he said Reese's name.@@michel333100

Obviously I’ve heard of Joe Bonamassa before, but why am I only now starting to educate myself on the genius that he is.
He is absolutely brilliant!!
And this piece of music has all kinds of Stevie Ray Vaughan vibes, in fact, I wonder if that’s Reece Wynan’s on the keyboard (he used to be Stevie Ray Vaughan’s pianist back in the 80’s).
Absolutely love his playing, I think my current favourite song of his is ‘Just Got Paid’.

@@joeyjetzz886 Joe was the first live show I took my two sons to. All their lives I’ve tried to expose them to quality music, artists, while not interjecting any thoughts on “their” music. As an older parent, I felt it essential to at least offer the opportunity to them to hear from the golden age of music as a main music type rather than an also ran, ‘dad’s music’ kind of thing. They got the best of both worlds, easy to find some good music. And they recognize good music when they hear it!

What a profesionalism! To keep themselves focused and motivated in front of no living audience for 12 tracks must have been tough. Sort of a live rehearsal with all production of a real show. And the performance is stellar. Can't wait to grab the DVD. Great fan here

One of the best electric blues guitar tones in the universe. Joe has certainly built on some great shoulders like Robben Ford for example - but he's done it so well. Oh - and, fantastic playing and singing - strong and forthright. I can die a happy man now!!!

@Steve Anstey I paid for it, and sent two photos in, just incase neither would work. Wasn't anywhere within the stand, and didn't receive any indication that there was a problem.. Kind of PO'd by that, as I paid $100 for nothing.
DAMN this is so good. Just preordered the DVD. Man I can't wait to watch the whole show. Especially excited to finally hear a live version of why does it take so long to say goodbye :D Hope he'll post that soon here, i have no patience ;D

I watched Joe play one evening at an open air venue just south of Denver Colorado years ago when he was just a kid opening for Bad Company and Foreigner. I enjoyed his bluesy soul then and I enjoy it today! Thank You Joe for all the blood, sweat, and tears you’ve put into your craft so that the rest of us can have the privilege of feeling a little bit of what you feel thru your gift of music.
