So, fun fact about Ichimonji (which means "One", or more specifically, its kanji in Japanese). It has been foreshadowed from even before the Soul Society arc.
Back when Ichigo first entered his inner world when training with Urahara, he met Old Man Zangetsu for the first time. Seeing the strange man standing on his cane, Ichigo asked him "Who are you?".
To which Zangetsu replied "It's me, [REDACTED]", which was blurred out by some noise. Now we all know that Zangetsu meant to say "It's me, Yhwach", and in the anime, you actually hear the last syllable of "Yhwach" (the "ha"). Now, in the manga, it was handled slightly differently. When Zangetsu replies, the word "Yhwach" in the speech bubble is covered by...a splash of black paint.
Now, this basically might mean that Ichimonji can erase Yhwach's name in the present, past and future. As such, we were seeing Ichimonji's power already making its rounds waaaaayyyy in the past. That is some god tier level of foreshadowing!
Yeah Kubo was asked in an interview about that and point blank said Ichibei didn’t want Ichigo to hear Yhwach’s name so he brushed it off all the way back then

But honestly, Bleach is full of time paradoxes (Ichigo's true Bankai would be an example). If Kubo himself said that, for that second, Zangetsu could not say his true name because of future events interfering until Yhwach activated the Almighty, I wouldn't be surprised.
Old Man Zangetsu resigned himself to calling himself that and Yhwach recovered his name. It would make a bit more sense if it was a temporary erasure.

Like a lot of concepts in JJK, Domain Expansion was directly inspired by Bankai. Kubo is truly the blueprint!

Episode 25 and 26 was PEAK, I'm so ready for Cour 3.
The way Askin's 'Death Dealing' works is kind of complicated, but it's understandable. Everybody has a tolerance to everything that they would put in their body. Take salt, for instance. A couple of tablespoons is lethal. What Askin does is lower your tolerance to that salt, making it so only a half tablespoon becomes lethal. In the case with Nimaiya, he chose blood. He lowers Nimaiya's tolerance to his own blood, meaning Nimaiya dies if he has too much and he dies if he bleeds himself out instead.
Yup , my mind can't cope at first cause we usually think "lethal dosage" usually means for more rather than lower it. And some reactors assume Askin just making the blood as poison. So , take it as tolerance limit is the easiest way to understand it .

Roydd, a normal sternrittern was able to keep up with Yama and didn't even burn being in close contact with his bankai

The Zero Division vs the Sternritter and Yhwach is some of the greatest stuff ever. Sheesh.
If you remember the first time when Ichigo met Old Man Zangetsu, Ichigo asked his name and Old Man Zangetsu said Yhwach (you can slightly hear it in the clip), but it was censored due to Ichibe's ability of removing names. When Old Man Zangetsu realised his name had been removed, that's when he started using the name Zangetsu. God tier foreshadowing by Kubo.

The auswalen doesn't necessarily kill, it can kill,but it doesn't necessarily does it. Ot takes the energy, thus if you're good you just get drained, if you're already weak then it kills you due to taking all the energy you have left
Also one cool thing about Ichibei's power. His power makes more sense in the manga for one simple fact. The manga is black and white and his power is black. His power is black and his sword is a brush. He basically alters reality by having the power of literally drawing the manga. His power is literally a mangaka drawing a manga, he "draws" bleach

Im just gonna say the truth here, even us Manga readers are shocked after this season finale. The extended Squad Zero especially Senjumaru using her bankai has never happened in the manga nor the novels as well.

@@nikkan3810 well recently i finished this fight manga and the panel where yhwach states “the squad zero has fallen” look identical to the scene where all the squad zero got heavily beat up before breaking the blood oath seal.So it got me thinking are they really gonna repeat that scene again no way so at least the outcome of how badly their beatup will be different in the anime since the beat up they had in the manga was already exactly shown i dont think they would repeat that scene again

Nah y’all are tripping, a lot of Yamamoto haters are happy to see this episode but I think you guys are forgetting Yamamoto didn’t have both arms in TYBW and you know how much two arms makes a difference in the Kenpachi vs Nnoitra fight and Ywach still had to seal his bankai to beat him, and was one only one out of the sternritter who could, nobody in the entire series has ever fought Yamamoto straight up at full power without sealing his bankai or flames and it’s for good reason
And we know for a fact he’s at least stronger than one squad member Kirio Hikifune because she was only recently promoted to squad zero in the timeline and Yamamoto already stated no soul reaper born in the last 1000 yrs was stronger, Yamamoto was hands down one of the strongest in the show
He is out , but basically he never was in top 10 .
Couple of fun facts!
In the original manga when Old man Zangetsu (Ywach) first tried to tell Ichigo his name the text was "blacked out" and Kubo later confirmed it was because he tried to tell Ichigo his name was Ywach but Ichibe "blacked" it out preventing both Ichigo and the reader from knowing it. Zangetsu then says "so you still cant hear it yet" implying he knew Ichigo couldnt hear the name Ywach due to Ichibe's interference. This also explains why Ichibe seems to act like he knows Ichigo before they met because he gad already somehow seen his inner world and conversation with his zanpakuto.
(Not a spoiled but a better explantion)
Askin's The Death Dealing works under the medial concept of toxicity and lethal doses. All substances can be 'toxic' even water or oxygen because at certain levels in the body they cause catastrophic damage. Look up death from over hydration. Askin's ability allows him to lower the amount of a substance is lethal to an individual. Or raise it. Meaning he can gain an immunity to that substance or attack.
(Also an explanation but maybe spoilers( Lille Barro's ability the X axis allows him to penetrate anything withour fail. This works in 2 ways. Offensively whatever is between him ans his target is 'penetrated' making his power similar to spatial deletion as there is no defense or way to block this. The second way is when Oetsu says the blade slipped through him, defensively he is able to 'penetrate' anything that comes in contact with him allowing it to pass through him. Meaning he cannot be touched and can delete anything between the muzzle of his gun and his target.
Jugrams ability works based on luck and probability manipulation and I'll leave it at that to avoid spoilers but it does help clarify how he broke the cage of life and killed Cang Du.
Also it is implied that Ywach had told all the lower ranked quincies he would return after destroying the royal palace and they would have their empire. Explaining why so many Quincies were confused when he sacrificed them to take the Royal palace as he lied to the others since killing the soul king is his main goal. This was clarified last week in the flash back!
Also saying Ichibe is a villian isn't entirely incorrect. I'll try not to spoil anything but if you pay attention to the backstory last week and some more lore in the Can't Fear Your Own World light novels that explain how the Soul King ended up like that it is heavily implied Ichibe being the oldest being we know of was a part of how it al transpired.

Zanpakuto origins are really interesting and these ancient ones are bizarre. Also I was watching your reaction to Blade is Me and wanted to tell you this:
Ichigo is probably the only shinigami after Oetsu, who is the best at understanding his own zanpakuto. Because All of shinigami in the Gotei originate in the academy, where they’re said that zanpakuto is a companion/tool/servant. Some say even a friend. Ichigo, who was originally a human, looked at Old Man Zangetsu as a mentor and a friend, and thought of White as a monster. Now, after all he’s been through he understands that Zanpakuto is just him. It’s his own soul. It’s his own parts he’s neglected/feared/didn’t know of. This is also tied to Aizen saying that when Zanpakuto “merges” with it’s host, they become transcendent. He was on a right track, but with the different angle, thus is why he doesn’t rely on his sword and lost in the first place. Zanpakuto is literally them, their own soul. This is why Ichigo is, most probably, the strongest being in the Bleach.

So Tite Kubo's plan was for Urahara to turn out to be villain in the end, and Aizen was supposed to die for real back in the Soul Society arc, but he decided to go with Aizen in the last moment, and he created one of biggest plot twists, and one of best villains in anime, and im glad he did. There is one instance in the novels tho that makes us sus Kisuke a bit.

you're exactly right in asking how Kubo was cooking while he was rushed; he wasn't able to cook at all beginning at this portion of the story. Squad zero was a massive let down that got bodied worse than Neji, but they not only wrote original fights to give them the dub, SENJUMARUS BANKAI CAME OUT OF FUCKING NOWHERE (and she arguably got done the dirtiest in the manga) so that was dope as hell to see. Despite that, dogshit cutoff for the fight but I know the team was originally going to include the aftermath tho couldn't make it in time so we got Kon's dumbass waste of time instead

Her bankai is an anime original. Basically a sign that there's gonna be some changes to how this arc ends, probably. I remember hearing that readers weren't a fan of how the manga ended, and Kubo (as well as Studio Pierrot) probably heard that feedback loud and clear.
Amount of anime only content, Amount of foreshadowing is insane in this last episodes plus incredible animation, voice acting. Everything was done fantasticly, but I didn't like Kon ending even tho I love him 😂

Ichibe's ability is based on what is refered as "True Name" magic...a old form of Celtic Magic....if you know the name of something, you gain control over it. So Ichibe can alter the powers of something by erasing and altering their names with his Zanpakuro.
Not just Ichibei's ability.
But everything in Bleach.

It's amazing that Kubo started writing this story like, what, 20 years ago? And the show is so damn racially diverse for the period especially since Japan is a homogenous country. I don't care if an anime is entirely ethnically Japanese given it is Japanese media after all - and it's the story's quality I'm most concerned about - but for there to be characters that are Black like Jackie (maybe American?) and Lille (maybe German?), Black Asians like Yoruichi/Yushiro/Oetsu/Captain Tosen, Black Latinos like Mila Rose, Polynesian like Tier Harribel and Asian Latinos like Chad is phenomenal. Kubo portrays other people of color like human beings unlike some other mangakas -- they are not stereotypical, do not have exaggerated features and don't have atrocious accents. Absolute fire show and the OST gives me chills! Love your reactions, btw! You've got a new subscriber in me.

Askin's ability is weird to explain, but I can do it with apple seeds. So, apple seeds contain very small amounts of cyanide which is lethal at a certain amount, but the amount inside an apple seed is not enough to do serious damage or kill someone. What Askin does is make the lethal amount lower, so he could, in theory, make an apple seed's worth of cyanide lethal to the average human. For another example, I believe the lethal amount of drinkable alcohol is around 200 proof. Askin can alter the lethality of alcohol so that a regular beer (typically between 1 and 10 proof) is enough to kill the average person as if they had drank 200 proof alcohol.
