- Enjoy a 50 year journey in 5 minutes! This video is a compilation of photos and art from the 50 plus year story that is Little Feat. It’s a story that would not be told if it weren’t for the contributions of Lowell George, Richie Hayward, Paul Barrere, Craig Fuller, Shaun Murphy, Gabe Ford, and Roy Estrada. And thankfully the story is still being written thanks to Bill Payne, Kenny Gradney, Sam Clayton, Fred Tackett, Scott Sharrard and Tony Leone.
The audio for “Time Loves a Hero” was recorded live on 7/21/22. in Cincinnati, OH at the Taft Theatre. Today, Little Feat is Bill Payne (keys & vocals), Kenny Gradney (bass), Sam Clayton (percussion & vocals), Fred Tackett (guitars & vocals), Scott Sharrard (guitars & vocals), and Tony Leone (drums & vocals).
“Time Loves a Hero” was written by written by Bill Payne, Kenny Gradney, and Paul Barrere for Barrere Music ASCAP, Streetlights Music ASCAP, and Kgin Music ASCAP. Video was assembled, directed and edited by Dick Bangham for RipBang Pictures.

I'm thrilled that stuff from my personal archives was used in this video. Lowell would give me several of each promo item for their first three albums whenever we saw each other. I went to the 99cent dance concert 0:30 in Glendale California.

Interestingly, at 2:44 the painting shows a dancer playing maracas and in the background is Rio de Janeiro...Brazil. Since Mambo is a Cuban rhythm\dance.
I was there at the Taft Theatre for this incredible performance as they recorded this audio.
Great band and very under appreciated one of my favorite all time bands. Incredible musicianship it’s a shame Lowell George was lost at such a young age and Ritchie Hayward is by far one of my favorite drummers may they both Rest In Peace.
If you come to the UK south coast to Eastbourne or Brighton some of the band can stay in my house if you need to save money..

It's beyond believable and that place is a joke. Little Feat, Jethro Tull, Joe Cocker, Robert Palmer... not in. Kiss and rappers are in. Makes no sense.

Usually I say you need to see these older bands before they die off. While we've lost some of the original members, this band remains alive and kickin. So in this case I say...you need to go see them before YOU die off.

Fantastic band, fantastic musicians!! Is there any chance of getting you over to Europe soon? I'm sure it would be a "quit job, fuckitall" thing for a lot of us 'Feat fans in Europe to get to see you!
Came to think of, accomodations for the band can be made, I've got friends in Stockholm, Malmoe and Gothenburg if hotels is too heavy.

@@ronfeldstein8555 No, I was referring to their 50th Anniversary Tour in 2019 at the Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines. Though it wouldn't surprise me if they played the Sportatorium, maybe even with Lowell? Everybody played the Sportatorium!
