Damn no Subway Surfers City D: For those who don't know Subway Surfers City (previously Hoverboard Heroes) is basically Subway Surfers 2. It's not out everywhere yet it's in soft launch but it's straight up a sequel to the original in every regard
I remember buying all of the DLC for Go Sanic Goo! (A meme parody of Sonic Dash with Sanic) at its relative peak, yet I remember quickly losing interest after they added Ugandan Knuckles, and the developer started to share ideas for a reskin that removes the parody aspects and changing it to a generic presentation with a ninja theme instead, since they were afraid that SEGA would crack down on such a blatant monetized parody
Looney Tunes Dash was on-par with Minion Rush, and actually had a lot of the same stuff. The environments felt _very_ alive with the amount of stuff going on in them, it had similar powerups, and specific powerups for every character that were charged up with coins (tho they all served as a brief invincibility rush were you could destroy everything), and of course, characters you would randomly encounter throughout the run that you could choose to attack. From what I remember, the objectives of each level were to collect a certain number of a certain collectable or perform an action a certain amount of times, much like Minion Rush. There's also a now unavailable LEGO Batman endless runner based on the LEGO Batman Movie. I'd say it's on-par with Subway Surfers. It had all the elements of any other one of these games, but there's two unique ones. So, the game only had two pickable powerups, which were a stud magnet and a vehicle, which was customizable. Completing objectives typically rewarded you with a vehicle part, and you could mishmash different parts of different vehicles to create a vehicle with the best stats (speed, durability, and ammo capacity. There was also "$w@g"). The vehicle served as an invincibility rush, except that it doesn't run on a timer. It runs on how frequently you hit stuff, which would damage the vehicle until it eventually gets destroyed. You could also shoot stuff to avoid crashing onto it as long as you had ammo. The second one is that whenever you run into an obstacle, your chance to revive was a brief 3K rhythm game that got harder and harder every time. I believe the limit for how many times it let you do it was from 3 to 5. If you did good at it, it let you continue, but if you missed a lot, it sent you back to the menu. There were also bossfights. I think it was the Joker, Poison Ivy, the Penguin, and maybe the Riddler. You also had a limited number of Batarangs that you could throw at obstacles to destroy them that would regenerate over time. You also had to press a button at a perfect time to use a grapple hook to make it over huge gaps.
If you do a sequel, pls do Angry Gran Run. It was one of my favourite mobile games from my childhood and I would really like someone to finally talk about it! Great vid btw

Looney Tunes Dash is the one of these I played the most of as a kid, I beat 90% of the chapters before my old phone broke down. I remember around 40 chapters, so more or less 600 levels, some levels were just about finishing them, some you had to reach a certain score or complete an objective, meaning which paths you took and what risks you decided to go for mattered beyond just getting 3 stars. Another cool thing were the collectable cards, each chapter had 9 and although they were just freeze frames from the old cartoons they had some cool info about that short and pretty sure they gave you something when collecting all in a chapter, meaning replaying some levels even had meaning to try different routes and go for all the cards. You can still find it on unofficial stores, but since all the chapters after the first one need in-app downloading I haven't found a way to play beyond that Edit: btw Sonic Dash has a lot of clones but one I'd definitely check out is Sonic Forces mobile. Also it wasn’t endless, having levels. And seasons brought new characters even from Crash 4 (Fem-N. Tropy) and older games like Crash 1( Pinstripe Potoroo) even Spyro got a collab and gave Gnasty Gnorc an actual hard boss fight. oh! so that's the origin of "jak" the jak i watch in subway surfers' tiktok! HAHAH the brainrot jack. they literally made that as a hoverboard in the official game
Looney Tunes dash was one of my favourite games during 2015 alongside MSM and that deleted Maze Runner game from Pikpok. It's a shame it isn't available anymore.
The Looney Tunes game was actually pretty cool from my memory, used to play it more as a kid but gave up after I got stuck at a level. I don't recall if I managed to ever pass from the Bugs Bunny levels though, I did find the "Welcome Home!" level endings to be quite funny. I think A tier was pretty reasonable, at least low A tier that being. Glad to see some appreciation for Lara Croft: Relic Run though, by far my favorite one from the list and from any mobile Lara Croft related games. It's quite an oldie yeah sure but it keeps you on the spot with all the new obstacles, all the shooting montages, even the handful of boss fights (I mean you fight for your life not to be eaten by a dinosaur by the end of the first part) were awesome. The environment changes after a while too, you manage to pass through desert and snowy levels, all packed with their own versions of obstacles and enemies. An absolute blast, cannot recommend it enough and it's still on the App Store to this day if you haven't played it yet. It may be a bit laggy at the start because it's really a product of its time, but otherwise it works quite fine and the ads aren't invasive either. Some others did mention it but Subway Surfers did have a "sibling" game if you wanna name it that way called Blades of Brim. It's a neat little game that allows you to battle enemies and equip weapons that changes a bit from the standard Subway Surfers gameplay, but it feels like it receives scraps most of the time - it merely got any updates/new additions since it got released besides some cleaning bugs from time to time. If there's a part 2 of this series, would be nice to give it a mention too.
I’m glad you agree with those choices! Such great games. And I hadn’t heard of that spiritual successor before people here in the comments told me about it! I’ll have to check it out!

I can't believe that the S tier games were: Worse version of Minion one, The SREU (Spiderman Runner Extended Universe), Lara Croft running in place and the obvious one. Incredible, incredible.
Here's a fun fact for sonic dash 2 and sonic prime dash. For prime it's a Netflix game so you need Netflix for it but it's EVEN BETTER THE THE FREE ONE NOW. The reason is you get all the sonic prime characters, can unlock all the base ones, get the event characters and you don't have to pay a dime cause there no micro transaction AND the way you level up is the og way aka JUST GETTING RINGS AND NOT STUPID CARDS!
On the topic of Garfield games, I actually recall a few garfield tower defence mobile games that I remember being kinda fun but that's probably just nostalgia blinding the quality
If you really were a completionist and a god gamer, you would have gotten all 85 platinum relics on the N.Sane Trilogy and the 38 Toys for Bob's relics on Crash 4

Wow big nostalgia yoy reminded me playing crash bandicoot games on ps1,talking tom games were fun they came out and minion rush was great as a kid on the ps1 there is an old game called hugo and it has his own new runner game meybe you can check it out
Great video bdw
Bdw redball was super nostqlgic too
Oh cool! And thanks!
@@Jake.Miller thanks that you reply i love youre content so much😭
oh! so that's the origin of "jak" the jak i watch in subway surfers' tiktok! HAHAH the brainrot jack. they literally made that as a hoverboard in the official game
I would highly recommand the Alnahsha run, on the google Playstore this game could be way better than the original Subway surfer
Ain’t no way this guy thought Bruce Lee was vector.
I love this video format
Looney Tooneys Dash was the best one 🔥🔥🔥
It looked great!
Looney Tunes dash was one of my favourite games during 2015 alongside MSM and that deleted Maze Runner game from Pikpok. It's a shame it isn't available anymore.
1:45 what about that one miraculous ladybug game
When my sister was a little kid...
I actually remember playing that Spiderman game as a kid. I cant believe it was taken down...
I know it’s very sad
Flying Gorilla is a gem and we must start a petition to nominate it for game of the year
If it still works I think bendy in nightmare run deserves a spot on this list, can you add it if you make a part 2?
Sure!
Maybe rank All Supercell and Nintendo mobile games since they are certainly popular right now on the mobile industry
Yea that’s a good idea, thanks!
@@Niteshade_ you re that one dude in robert ticklerius s videos
@@Oatmealraisinbright yes
Sneaking admiral bulldog in there....berrry cool😉😉
17:53 I played Looney tunes dash, it was a really cool game it was working fine, i loved playing as road runner this game had a lot of content and was really fun overall
That’s great! Wish I could play it
In defense of minion rush, it wasn't always the level based game play it was just mainly endless with the occasional vector appearance for a fight. Edit: I forgot if you still had to do the levels but it going on endlessly after the objective, now it kicks you out assuming it's how I played a few months ago
You don’t even need to defend it, I still gave it S!
Top gear race the stig wasn't on here because it clears all of them 🔥🔥
I assume that’s a racing game?
@@Jake.Miller its a subway surfer style game, where you race the stig endlessley, honestly a tierlist of top gear games could in theory be made, the original stunt school was so good it was basically mobile beamng drive in 2011
This is already out of date, new offical Subway Surfer HD thing, 'Subway Surfers City' just came out
I KNOW DUDE MOBILE COMPANIES ARE OUT TO GET ME
I loved the looney tunes runner game. It was seriously S tier and that’s not even nostalgia talking
I miss spiderman unlimited the wall climbing and webswinging and the events everyday was so much fun
3:45 there is actually a limit to how many times you can watch ads to revive (im pretty sure the max is three)
18:25 this was a really fun game i got stuck on a level where you played as the bird third to last world and basically if you bumped ever so slightly you would fail I never got to play as the road runner but still fun game so your ranking is pretty accurate
Glad to hear it! Thanks!
I remember the bear gills game and that one death sence where he becomes a fossil
Yep, good times
I actually completed the talking tom rush game and I was OBSESSED with the game. It has wayyyy more mapa then u shower and every map has an unique gimmick, there's an undersea level and snow and air and wayyy more!!
Wow I didn’t know it was bearable! That doesn’t sound pretty cool
I think the “Jaze” thing was him combining the A and the K as one hybrid letter kinda like Æ or something, but it didn’t look very good lol
Haha no it didnt
You should have talked about the Batman and flash run if you've never heard of it you should look it up I played it so much when I was a kid and I was so upset when they took it down
17:50 You might not know this, but Spider-Man unlimited has a mod that revives the game and adds new content.
5:09 JUMANJI RUN MADE A FLYING GORILLA REFERENCE!?!?!?!?!??!
8:27 ANOTHER FLYING GORILLA REFERENCE?!!?!?!??!!??!
minion rush is one of my favourite games
(also the ranking is perfect, but i would put flying gorilla in a tier better than S)
Lowkey want you to rank all the characters in Subway Surfers now
Haha I’m not sure I would but maybe
God, Crazy Frog has huge potential for an endless runner.
I'm not joking.
I believe you should put Talking Tom Gold run in B, because you kept on using it's song in the video
There’s so many I never knew existed
It’s insane how huge this genre is
I can't believe that the S tier games were: Worse version of Minion one, The SREU (Spiderman Runner Extended Universe), Lara Croft running in place and the obvious one. Incredible, incredible.
Haha one of the craziest s tiers of all time for sure
Minion rush is goated
Here's a fun fact for sonic dash 2 and sonic prime dash.
For prime it's a Netflix game so you need Netflix for it but it's EVEN BETTER THE THE FREE ONE NOW. The reason is you get all the sonic prime characters, can unlock all the base ones, get the event characters and you don't have to pay a dime cause there no micro transaction AND the way you level up is the og way aka JUST GETTING RINGS AND NOT STUPID CARDS!
talking tom gold rush is literally my childhood i love the game and it is a great game :D
I was at a friends and all we ended up doing was watch try not to laugh and whoever laughed had to play minion rush on the tv.
What a punishment haha
Surprised Blades of Brim wasn’t included, seeing how it’s made by the same devs. I honestly like it more
On the topic of Garfield games, I actually recall a few garfield tower defence mobile games that I remember being kinda fun but that's probably just nostalgia blinding the quality
I actually can’t believe there’s Garfield tower defense games what the heck
@@Jake.Miller I double checked, it's called Garfield's Defence
If you really were a completionist and a god gamer, you would have gotten all 85 platinum relics on the N.Sane Trilogy and the 38 Toys for Bob's relics on Crash 4
Hey I’m a god gamer, not a masochist. I stop playing when it stops being fun
Understandable, but speak for yourself. Personally, I even had fun with SMB: The Lost Levels
I was speaking for myself
