- In 2024 Temple Run has been completely overshadowed by Subway Surfers. There are so many games that copied Temple Run's style that its hard to believe it was the pioneer of the genre. But, as always, its creators have milked the series dry, resulting in quite a few games you probably didn't know existed. So let's go through the entire history of the series and rank EVERY game in order of release.

I remember playing Temple Run Oz back when Oz The Great and Powerful was in theaters. It was fine, but it loses points for not having Bruce Lee or Usain Bolt as playable characters like in 2

I remember I played a game called "Dark Corridors" It's a temple run game but it's mix with horror, like while running the jumpscares are the obstacles and when the chaser caught you, you'll get a fullscreen jumpscare

Here’s a funny story: About 10 years ago, I used an outdated android tablet which had major issues running, well, anything. While looking for games, I found a game called “Temple Run 3” This game was so funny because the sounds and ragdoll physics were something else. Yes, it had ragdoll physics.

After watching this video, I just realised I've played so many different iterations of Temple Run as a kid 😅 I vividly remember the Brave one and wanted to play the Oz one so bad but my phone couldn't support it at the time lol
The football player was my favorite character in Temple Run
Through the rose tinted glasses of my youth I'm certain the greatest endless runner was the spiderman game. I'm pretty sure it featured changing environments, boss battles and a near endless roster of unlockable spidermen and women. I will not attempt to variefy any of these claims in fear of 1. Finding out it no longer exists or 2. Becoming hopelessly addicted. The idea that it isn't as good as I remember is non existant because I know it's S teir and will die on this hill.

Also, I feel like the idle game had a lot of missed potential - you could run to collect some gems or whatever to power your idle machines which make gold, but the stronger machines require better/rarer gems which can only be found deeper, requiring you to spend your gold to buy power ups and unlock new maps.
The original Temple Run is SO FUN but the issue I've always had was there'd be these parts that were literally just impossible. You'd have to jump over a tree only for there to be another tree you'd have to jump over at the EXACT SPOT where you'd land. Even with good timing, you'd fail and >have< to use one of your revives and watch an ad.

I remember playing Temple Run 2 back in 2015 and unlocking everything just by playing. The problem was, I wasn't using Google Play Games at the time so my progress wasn't saved, at all.

Man an Indiana Jones Temple Run game would’ve made sense as another Disney TR reskin after Oz, Indi running with the fertility idle while being chased by the Hovitos and having other characters like Satipo, Marion, Sallah and even updates that include characters from later movies like Willie and maybe Short Round from Temple of Doom, Jones sr and maybe that medieval knight from Last Crusade and maybe Mutt from Crystal Skull

I tried temple run when i was a kid like maybe 2013 and I dowloaded it again recently and at first i was confused cuz of all the skins and stuff , I remember playing TR 2 and OZ and i totally forgot playing brave. I gasped when you mentioned the bow shooting in the middle of the run. That's the only thing i remember of brave. Well now i am felling nostalgic and i will download TR OZ to play since that was my favorite out of all the IMANGI games.

Temple run was the first game I got on my ipod touch aswell as pocket frogs, also temple run was the first mobile game I beat completely and got every single item on the game! I even did the quick double turn glitch before it was an achievement! Also remembered if you had the football olayer you were a pro, since most people never got him haha
32:55 What's wild is that PvZ2 game actually held very long before succumbing to the f2p curse, it truly did, at first it started with pvp arena but it felt fair still, but then everything changed when plant levels appear then Penny Pursuit and somewhere in between the arena plants started to become way stronger than regular plants.
Quite tragic end to PvZ2 which is why despite actually having all gemerald plants and some event one's I just left the game, felt like it was sucking da soul out of me, and that also made me dislike most mobile games even further. 😅
I could never get TR Brave to work on my old android tablet way back when either.
