Small history lesson: tn once had the most elite buses JJtc now merged with other sub units to form SETC . Its build quality matched with foreigner buses. Tn was among the first state to bring a/c buses in india. even they had on board pantry . Volvo buses were commissioned in tn fleet long ago. These were Volvo low base buses. These were now stopped due to high maintenance cost
Bro don't mind bad but I need to say that tn buses are waste because normal green colour bus runs so slow at the speed of 35 in highway and average speed is 20 and KA has everything speed interior maintainance tn is waste in bus transport
KSRTC is the one who 1st introduced BENZ, SCANIA, VOLVO buses to the Indian transport proud of my KSRTC

These are the different types of buses operated by KSRTC. All thanks to our then transport minister Ashok and BJP govt who modernized the KSRTC. Lots of people are complaining in the comments that there are no toilets in the buses. There are many types of buses operated by KSRTC and many buses have toilets, it depends upon the types of buses. I've listed down all the types run by KSRTC

Longest bus in Asia (15m long) with 40 spacious sleeper berths fabricated as per AIS 119 standards with more headroom and legroom. Fully air conditioned and air suspension vehicle with 3+2 non-reclinable seats built on Ashok Leyland chassis. Mostly operates between Mysuru and Bengaluru, but now replaced with VolvoAiravat.
*Vaibhav*
Non air conditioned deluxe bus service with recliner seats in 2+2 configuration built on Tataand Ashok Leyland chassis. The seats recline less when compared to Rajahamsa.
*Karnataka Sarige, Suvarna Sarige, Vayavya Karnataka Sarige and Eshanya Karnataka Sarige*
Widely abundant mode of bus service with 3+2 non reclining seats in KSRTC, NWKRTC and NEKRTC found in red-white or green and red/orange - cream liveries respectively. These are built on Ashok Leyland, Tata and Eicherchassis.

We have been travelled from Chennai to Bangalore it's really awesome and noise less.... It has been provided 6 charging points on each berth, only 50rs more compare to private buses it costs 820. No delay in boarding and departure, safe journey, Jai ksrtc.

The multi-axle buses in Karnataka are good, and the drivers too. But due to drivers' inability to come out of their old habits of keeping their door window open and drive, gallons of wind gushes inside the bus and creates hazardous cabin pressure, causing in most cases, earaches which the unsuspecting passengers do not figure out. This is more so the case with long haul multi-axles. When some cautious passengers ask the driver to close the window he would oblige but to open it later. On persistent inquiry, a couple of them have admitted they do so because they feel the absence of regular flow of natural air through the driver's door window... and feel suffocated. If that is the psychological feeling with all, drivers of the AC buses need to be counselled. Hope this is not a universal phenomenon in other AC buses operated elsewhere!
No..it's not universal.Seems to be a localised issue of habit..
This undesirable trait can be edited out easily these days off & out of the Driver's personality.
Management must look into this with commitment.

Normal sleeper dream class is 700rs from chennai to Bangalore, multi Axel is 820RS but pls travel in multi Axel so that you can't feel road humps and patches. Berths are well furnished, noise less.
