You should be able to no problem. All of our current test fleet is Early Access with a Touch, Touch Max, and an ATA. They just might have different software packages. This was all ran through a Dream Machine Pro as well.
It does support 3rd party providers but I don't believe Yealink phones are *officially* supported. I believe there is a way to allow SIP accounts to be used for devices outside of the Unifi ecosystem but the Unifi Talk app is mainly geared towards a seamless and easy to setup/use Unifi phone system with all of their stuff. Kinda like Apple in a way, it "just works" as long as its their hardware/software.
If you do not subscribe to UnifTalk, you must buy the "Subscription UNLOCKED version" Any "Subscription Locked" phone means a Talk purchased plan (9.99) must be active on that phone for the cheaper phone. Different that the common understanding of cell phone locked/unlocked. Unifi is "Subscription" locked/unlocked.
Can you use a Unifi UVP phone with the UDM Pro? I am told that the UVP phone is an older version.

Wil Unifi Talk function with no subscription if you use your own Yealink phone and use Flowroute for the DID provider?
