Really enjoyed your reaction. I like seeing people who are a bit older like myself checking out his music. He’s one of the most gifted singer songwriters I’ve heard and it’s cool to see the music connecting generations.
They showed the behind the scenes of the filming on his Patreon. The mic is held with gaffer tape and his feet on the base, and in the footwell is the equipment the mic and guitar are plugged into.
REN is quite good at expressing himself through song. Nice reaction to this one. Nice way for me to start my day, right here. Have a great day. Take care. 🙏🙏🙏
Done live in the backseat of the car. I watched the bts. His computer and wires at his feet and mic and light fastened to the back of the drivers seat.
You should see the video for this too as it has a whole bunch if stuff in subtitles at tge bottom about his aim to help others thst haven't yet got better due to Lyme's and a host of other 'invisible' difficult to diagnose illnesses often disregarded or misdiagnosed as mental illness - as Ren was - but which are actually pathogens or still mysterious to the nedical profession. ❤
I so relate to this kid. I'm struggling. It's 122 degrees F. Apologies that I haven't made it to the post office w your swag box. Love seeing your faces!!
@thepedanticphoenix I'm a senior citizen. Everyone who looks under 45 is a kid to me. It's not an insult at all... unless you're insecure about being young. If you are, that's a you problem. Once you get older, being called a kid is freaking wonderful. What is it you kids say? "Don't be a snowflake?"
You guys are great but I really think you haven't seen lighthearted and hilarious Ren and you could do with a laugh! Check out his Beastie Boys tribute: What You Want; his homages to working class Britain: Bittersweet Symphony and Phat Boy Slim retake Right here Right Now. Loco and Love Music parts 1 to 4 are hilarious and suoer clever, as is 1990s and Uninvited - a take on cheesy French love songs - very naughty! Losing It is upbeat and sublime; Genesis - about his pain, yes, but also very cool, clever and upbeat. Ocean with Eden Nash and Ready For You are great bluesy, jazzy songs and really uplifting. Also: What Went Wrong 1 and 2 - darkl, but also brilliantly, funny & a great story. And - The Big Push: Sweet Little Lady is awesome - watch the video with all his mates in it - and their cover of Bongo Bong is great too - recorded in lockdown. There are others too - but really hope you dip into these and enjoy a smile with Ren rather than only knowing the darker stuff! Best from UK Renegade - Pippa. ❤
Good discussion and banter. Ren is always thought provoking. Stay weird! You’re “my people”.
