As usual, your strum pattern step-throughs are amazing. I love your chord choices but also find success by capo-ing the 3rd fret and building the intro off Csus2 etc, with the verse as Csus2, Am, F, E, and the chorus as F, G, C, Am.

This is yet another brilliant tutorial for a fabulous song. However, is there any chance you could start including vocals in the tutorials? Would make a little more sense, certainly to me?

Really liked the video but I am getting the wickedest pain in the fretting hand as I attempt to make the shapes. I shall keep trying though.
Hello and thank you for watching this lesson and for your kind words - most appreciated. If you are not used to playing barre chords they take a good while to get comfortable with for sure. A little discomfort is normal but big wicked pain is not good so I would stop and check your technique to make sure you are not putting you wrist or hand in a weird position. Under the video I have a link for a detailed barre chord lesson and eBook which is free - click that link to get it and then watch that lesson - its free - but in that lesson I go over the proper technique for playing and changing barre chords - so check your technique against that lesson and let me know how you do. That Bьm/Eь I find terribly hard. When I lift my pinky, my 3rd finger, that is still sitting on the D string, will invariably mute the G string. Any tips?
Hi Gert and thank u so much for watching this lesson - really appreciated. Yeah, those intro chords arranged for guitar are tricky but you can get them. Just keep trying to build strength and dexterity and your fret fingers as you want to hook that 3rd finger and not have it go flattened as then that will interfere with the G-string - so work on hooking that finger - I talk about that in other lessons too. I have many lessons you may want to consider to help improve with your pinky and fret finger strength and dexterity.
