Novak is the only obstacle for Sinner to win AO. The question is can Sinner beat Novak in 5 sets? I think yes
Novak right now is not in his best shape, jannick does . The last 6 months have impacted sinner’s game play as never seen before all over his career . The Serbian will always have his odds favorite but the second half of the 2023 shown the world and made Novak realize he’s not alone anymore on the Olympus of the tennis players . I wish jannick anyway the best of luck cos he really deserves it .
Sinner is fired up, he hits hard and precise, moves so well and he is ready to take the AO, so this time he will be playing Novak in the group,who will have to play his best if he wants to retain the crown .

I'm Italian and I want to praise De Jong, the score and highlights don't give him too much credit, he has a beautiful all around court tennis and already very good service, he has everything to compete at high level bu needs to work on put some more power on his shots.
Really reminds me of Rune style of play, even better at times because he already has a good selection of shots.
Today he was simply overpowered by Sinner, at the end you could clearly see he was nervous and uncomfortable to go toes to toes with Jannik but Jesper is easily top 20 material with some adjustments, unlucky for him to face Sinner this early into the main draw
