Love the changes to the wagons! Yo’ll defiantly have to get some coaches in the future! I was thinking of changing my coupling system to use technic liftarms myself to save on magnets 👌
You could just use lego chain pieces for the couplings. You might need to swap out the buffers for a smoother ended piece (so it won't catch on the studs of the current buffers), but it would work.
@@Nowheres_Channel I’ve experimented with chain couplings in the past, and they’re quite tedious to couple up. Also since my engines have different wheelbases, sometimes the chain won’t be long enough to keep distance when going around curves. I’ll probably have to get some wider radius track anyway. 😉 Thanks for watching!
Very good job! I really enjoyed watching you make these models. I had no idea that the instructions came with a digital copy to order parts. I guess now I'll have to look into buying some of those models. Great job, can't wait to see what you build next!
Looking forward to anything you make next! Maybe next time you make a model you can start with pieces you have and do 2/3 in progress videos showing the design before the final reveal
It would be cool if you made some wagons in other colors, namely red (a common one for private companies). And if you're not scared of custom decals, it would be especially fun to see you create a few private wagons complete with ornate lettering. My dad and I have collected a few dozen OO scale private wagons (namely 7 plank ones) between us. I know that we're heavily lacking in the railway-owned trucks department, but we just can't get enough of these colorful rolling advertisements for the United Kingdom's collieries and other industries. The closest thing to them we ever had in the states were billboard reefers (Vans that used chests of ice at either end of the car instead of ventilation to keep perishables fresh). Fun fact: private wagons got me interested in prototypical British trains when my dad bought an eBay lot of five Bachmann Branchlike 7 plank wagons for me to add to my collection of Bachmann Thomas and Friends rolling stock. I couldn't have named any British engines but Rocket, Flying Scotsman and Mallard at the time (Probably because they and Locomotion were all in a visual dictionary I liked to read); now I know the prototypes for a large percentage of Thomas and Friends characters, and the Ivatt 2MT is one of my favorite steam engines.
2:36 Aaaaaand you already called it! That's a much higher percentage of green wagons than my dad or I own. Rapido had some interesting liveries, but I'm not ready to pay $50 plus shipping for this type of rolling stock. Their pre-grouping vans are more tempting, but still feel prohibitively expensive (Maybe I just have less of an issue paying premium prices for engines than for rolling stock).
@@Charmaster04 I’d love to make some more, but with my current budget, I’m trying to diversify my rollingstock as much as possible. It’s definitely an option in the future though! As for custom lettering, I want to add a personal touch to them, but it’s rather daunting! It’s a definite must-do for the future, though!!
Looks good, I definitely prefer your mods to the original Block Junction wagons (and I am very well acquainted with his stuff, lol). I have a mild suggestion about your power issues, it may not be the quickest but you can attach 2 Circuit Cube motors to run off of one port for extra power. My 03 and J50 both use this setup and it doesn't require any custom pieces or wiring to do.
Thanks for the suggestion, Ed! I'll have to experiment with that, and it'll stop my Circuit Cubes app telling me that I haven't opened it in a while! 😅
@BrickishRailways Just make sure you get your wires the correct way round! If you need any pics or help I'm happy to provide but I reckon there'll be plenty on ye olde google
You don't have to purchase railway rolling stock of LEGO status. You can try constructing the wagons or coaches yourself. LEGO railways are fun to play with.
I’m not quite sure what you mean by “LEGO status”? I bought instructions from fellow LEGO train MOCers, and I modified them slightly. I will agree, LEGO railways are quite fun! 😊
Oh, I LOVE the King Class. One of my first British Railways MOC's was King Edward II. The King Class is definitely on my list, perhaps when I have more money! :)
Looks great all together! You only need a brake van now, can’t wait to see the next video!
Thank you! It really means a lot that you watch my videos. Are you, by any chance, displaying at Brickvention again?
@ sure am!
@@Britishbricks See you there! I'm not displaying (underage) but might bring some stuff (maybe?).
The lego wagons look really cool!
These look great! Love how they look on the tracks!

What a neat little set, those models are also very nicely made!
Absolutely lovely! :D
Amazing Railways!

Chain couplings are good for 2 wide narrow gauge
@BrickishRailways
I will say, getting bigger radius does help, cause I have the USATC S100 and it ran better on at minimum R56.

Thanks! The instructions didn't actually come with a digital copy - I just followed the instructions in Stud.io.
@BrickishRailways That's still not a bad idea if you want to make modifications before actually building it.
Mate, your builds are incredible, I only found your channel a mont or so ago, but this is truly amazing mate- I subbed, hope this helps!
This is absolutely impressive. :)
Amazing
Next I’d say is a tanker and breakvan … then you have a whole foods train .

That seems like a really fun idea! I'll see what I can do.

Could you make a video about layouts? Im always building boring loops and i need advice

So how did you do the flush modification, cause I have the Block junction wagon instructions.
You can get a good view at 0:39 and 0:47. Happy building!
@BrickishRailways thanks
may i ask what software you are using to design these models in?
@@LiliaArmoury I’m currently using Bricklink Stud.io. It’s free, and you can download it on the Bricklink website.
at thee price these go for i think you'd be better off just doing actual scale models
