I've only.just discovered your channel - this is absolutely incredible! Stunning work, would love to be able to build lego trains like that, and so I think ill stick to remade 00 gauge models XD I subbed as well mate, hope this helps :)
You propably should have gone for the 64xx, the 57xx has a curved boiler up top and I do understand that it would be difficult but the 64xx has a flat top and everything else is basically the same I think.
Going off the drawing I was referencing and the various pictures, I can't really see a boiler from the top. Perhaps this could be because of the amount of other pipes and gubbins going on. Could perhaps be represented by some 2 lone curved tiles. Do you have any links to references where it's prominent?
Tip to improve the model: Separate the chassis and the body, then put an axle under the body, then connect that axle with the top of the chassis. It won't improve the model, but it will now waddle
I've almost finished building this model and I love it. I did modify it, so it's even farther from the original, but it still looks great. Question I have: Do you have a PDF with stickers I could use?
@@tomaszstelmach2844 unfortunately I'm not sharing the files for the stickers I've made as I'm currently looking into making and selling sticker sheets with a railway focus.
Anyone can build a Lego train, whether it's any good or not is in the eye of the beholder. There are people who probably look at this model and think "that's not right, I'd have done x". First step is giving it a go! The BrickLink studio app also makes it super easy to try stuff out and make mistakes without breaking the bank. Also taking a look at techniques by other builders on the Open L Gauge is a great way to learn too.
It’s a great looking engine. Brilliant work.

xD That would be quite hilarious to watch it waddling along the track.
Nice job as usual!!

Certainly better than I can build
