Hi Dave and Sue, We are just back from a long weekend in North Wales, and the mud was the same there too! We have had soo much rain recently, the trails are just like rivers!😮 🌧. Good on you both for persevering through the mud! The little lambs are just so cute aren't they, we loved the story of Sue and her lamb in a box ❤🐑. Sue the sheep whisperer! We were glad the lambs found there mother again. A well earnt lunch in Buith Wells for sure! Ah, we hate it when the climb uphill is at the end of the day, would much rather get it out the way at the start 🙈. But you made it back, with some lovely muddy memories 🥰. Oh that must have been a brilliant break. We were in North Wales in September. Seems a lifetime ago now but we loved it so much. We don’t visit enough! Ha yes, the tracks were crazy muddy. How one of us didn’t fall in to the “lakes” we just don’t know 😃😃. But it was great fun!! It’s a gorgeous area and we loved Builth Wells. A very quirky little market town. What a lovely story that is about your uncle’s farm. Sue used to tend the lambs on the farm if they got rejected. We loved that place. It was peaceful and quiet and we had a really relaxing time. Super muddy adventure for sure! The lane you w’re walking along looked quite flooded in parts, we’d probably call that soupy! O wow, that was a challenge. Cute sheep and little lambkins… fun that Sue grow up around sheep- I don’t know what I would have done! I was thinking what our muddiest hike would have been, and I don’t think we’ve ever had a trail that was quite so muddy! 😆 You rally made the most of it! 😄☀☀☀🌻🌻

Yes, Sue's Dad was Shepherd, a stock man and he used to look after around 600 sheep. So Sue was brought up with them, literally 😃 But the Welsh hills around there are wonderful, the whole area is so green and lush. Have a lovely Sunday

Oh dear Dave, you and Otis would get along just fine, as just like you, Otis is always the butt of all my jokes...but the tail just keeps of wagging! LOL Just marvelous to see the daffodils all out and head bowed over. Would much rather snow than the mud...poor Otis and his white paws and he doesn't like me touching them let alone cleaning them! lol I'd be cleaning off in that steam for sure. But the adventure is all worth it...and seeing that glorious sun brings everything into perspective...awesome!!
Oh gosh we had never seem so much mud Bruce. It got everywhere. Somehow we didn’t fall in!! Apparently it’s been the wettest March ever in the UK. Around home, everywhere is mud,mud and more mud. The last day in Wales was beautiful - sunny and cold but at least it wasn’t raining! 😃😃 But such a wonderful area!!

Very relaxing place and yes, Builth is lovely. And the wildlife was amazing too. We will definitely be back there - we do have a lot planned this year - hoping to film and photograph Otters and Eagles on Mull next month But Wales is very high on the list again after our stay at Noyadd Farm.
