- Hi guys! I have taken the same HS403A I used last week for the reliability test and subjected to 48 hours of being submerged/frozen to see how it would hold up..... Check it out for yourself!!
Just WOW. I'm running the 503c and an 403a, so far in my limited time using them I love them both! Awesome video bro. Thumb's up!~John
I LOVE the way you freed it from the ice cube--with a HAMMER!!! You are very brave(?) to subject your sight to such abuse. Or is that simply something we can expect from a Holosun? Your review gives me much to think about. I've been considering (and balking at the cost) an Aimpoint. This might be a possible alternative. Thoughts?
I was on the same page as you.... I can not justify the expense of an Aimpoint for a personal gun, let alone several guns!! Holosun gives me a good product with the features I want/like at an affordable price point.
I have to agree. You mentioned there were several different red dot types available. I think you said 4. One was a regular dot, Another was the BDC. Did I misunderstand or are there two other types available and are they all in each unit or are they separate units?
Mark Johnson In the near future they will be releasing a dual reticle version. That is the video I did asking for feedback. The two reticle designs they were playing with is a BDC version and an Eotech style version.
I'M sold!
yeah its angled in my sonata sf touch screen also
While freezing it into a cup of ice is a visually impressive sales stunt, it literally tells us nothing about its water submersion abilities other than its submersible to 4 inches of water pressure. Aimpoints are laboratory tested to 5 ATM water proof or 150 feet of water column pressure.. Guys have done this same test on 70 dollar TRS-25 red dots and they have passed easily so im not really convinced this is much of an abuse test. Is being frozen in ice really that stressful for non living objects?
hey man. I have a quick question. I just got my 403 A and I noticed that the front lens is slightly angled backwards. I was just wondering if this was normal or am I gonna have to send it back for an exchange???
All red dots have the front lens angled in order to make the dot viewable. Perfectly normal...
The website says nothing about the moa adjustment or these being water proof and or shockproof? I am interested but without it being written I assume they arent guaranteed as such?
The information is located in the manual.
Here is the link to my zero test...
