Short-cut tip: In Dave (the Logic Sampler) if you go into Group view then select all the groups, there's a Group drop-down option to Create Round Robin. Round robins used to be so tedious in the old sampler, so I was happy to see Dave making light(er) work of this.
This is all so exciting to learn. The information I have learned from you so far has been a real game changer. I am hoping to create and submit an instrument to pianobook soon!
Excellent. Thanks for this video. Much better than the Kontakt manual for learning. Just did my first round robin instrument (bass). Hope to have something worth submitting to pianobook one day ;-)
I am trying to learn how to make a simple round robin . I am new to making a round robin and this video goes by super fast. Can anyone direct me to a step by step version where I don’t know anything prior but making a one note sample instrument ? Please very frustrated .
I'm going crazy with this because the round robins work when clicking the keyboard in the Kontakt UI, but NOT when playing through the Komplete controller. It makes no sense and I have no idea how to fix it.
This is so tedious and unintuitive. Why isn't there a way to just put all the samples for a given note and velocity into one group and then when you play the sampler randomly or sequentially plays a sample from the group? Having a full range of notes in each RR group seems backwards to me.
No nonsense tutorial. Best I have seen in years. Thanks!

This series is so empowering. Really thankful for your contributions!
Hurrah for Pianobook!!!!!
Hoping to sample an extraordinary organ when this COVIDcrap has passed, so vids like these are extremely useful... Thx Christian!

This is a great series!
I really wish Kontakt would take some notes from Reason’s NN-XT sampler. Round robin’s in half the time.
I am new to Logic Pro and have the latest version. So all of these stops are required after you specify to create round robins in the autosampler?
Thanks!
Nice!
