Kontakt Tutorial: How to Fake Round Robin Samples and More

In this video, I turn some samples of my childhood piano (a Weber 1929 baby grand) into a fully working Kontakt instrument. Along the way, I should how to use Big Bob's Ultra TKT script to fake round robins, how to add an ADSR envelope, how to fake dynamics with a low-pass filter, and finally, I show a technique for faking stereo samples when you only have mono ones.

When he mentioned Big Bob in this vid I instantly recalled his avatar and smiled. Last month I was fooling around with some very old samples, found myself experimenting with SIPS and thought of him and felt genuine gratitude. Some fantastic tips in this video, that fake velocity using a LP filter is a great idea and even if you have 3 or 4 layers, it might still be interesting to make use of it. A great story about the Piano and why you sampled it, the final patch sounds nice but, I would have brightened the whole thing up a bit with an EQ on the output.

One issue I'm having with this fake RR script is that whenever I press the sustain pedal, play some notes and then release, I can still hear them and they won't cut off as they should. How do I fix this?
