Amazing internal design, it's such a breath of fresh air compare to Kaboo and others! This is in an entirely different league from a build quality standpoint!
Thanks for the feedback... And, please subscribe if you haven't already! 😉 It will be interesting to see if the Inmotion ideas/standards are adopted by other manufacturers.
I've been waiting for an in depth look at the internals of the RS! Thank you! I ordered one back in July and it should be here in the next couple of weeks! I'd love to take you up on your offer for some extra laser cut reflector stickers. How can I buy a set from you?
Thanks. I am adding it to our website, but have realised that courier options make this far too expensive. So, I am looking to get some postal options set up... In the meantime, if you email us at office@roll.nz, we can work out a way to get them to you!
Replacement RS Reflectors are available on our website now... www.roll.nz/int/accessories-parts/176-695-inmotion-rs-replacement-reflectors.html#/234-colour-orange
Thanks for that... It's good to see that he has similar thoughts about the RS. I notice that there is still no gasket. I think I want to look into that...
I slid my RS yesterday turning to fast, its insanely fast lol, but where could I get that part u are pulling out at 15:16 those corner light pieces, one one side it was scraped clean and want to order 2 new corners for my right side. I have to replace the break as well, but honestly the RS held up great. Other then them minor scrapes, the metal was just barely touched. Ill eventually sand it down tho and repaint it due to I want mine to be red👀🏎️
"Insanely fast" is an understatement... We put a professional rider on our one and he was instantly just gone! The parts you are wanting are the Inmotion RS Bumpers (part numbers 400000027-400000029). They list each bumper as a separate part, but the opposite corners are identical, so I'm not sure why (they only need two). Looking at the parts list, the numbers do not come with the reflector in the middle, so you will need a couple of those two (part number 400000032). You should be able to get these parts from the dealer who supplied your RS, though you will probably have to wait for them to be shipped in from Inmotion. Also the reflective tape that covers the mounting screws don't show on the Inmotion parts list. You could source your own tape and just cut them, or you can order some from Roll.nz... www.roll.nz/accessories-parts/176-695-inmotion-rs-replacement-reflectors.html If you aren't able to source them from your local supplier, we can order some for you, though as we are in New Zealand (and depending where you are in the world), the shipping costs and times may not be the best. Email us at office@roll.nz if you would like to discuss in more detail.
If you're registered as the owner in the Inmotion App, then "locking" the RS shouldn't be a problem. But remember that this only disable it electronically... Someone could still come and carry your scooter away, so you should also use a physical lock to prevent theft.
@@EUCBodyguardi successfully registered using a mobile. After registering i tried to login. The login on the app nowhere to sign in using mobile phone. Then registered with email. By any chance did you noticed any type of USB C output port anywhere on the RS? I pre ordered one and downloaded the manual andnit said under the product specifications page i believe ots page 8 in the manual at the bottom it says "other" it says Output Port: USB C. Unfortunately no one has mentioned that and i wonder if its a typing mistake. Sounds interesting for phone charging.
That really depends on the condition... I don't see why an RS couldn't do 10,000km if it is liked after. Do check the condition of the motor connectors though, there has been a bit of an issue with them melting.
@@EUCBodyguard What should i look for when buying it? It has 3000km and is in pretty good shape, besides dirt and dust, etc. No crashes or whatsoever. Also, is there an app where i can check the battery performance or health?
For my unit, I find that tensioning the stem (by pulling forward on it a little) while lifting the main part of the catch ensures it fully engages. Then the front piece should push all the way back and you can hold it there while tightening the lock screw.
Fair call... Remember that this is a prototype though (with a mediocre paint job). I expect the production units to be more in line with Inmotion's normal standard.
Some serious engineering and effort into RS
Doesn't look like any exposed components on the controllers at all. Completely sealed boxes. Quite impressive.

Excellent video, mate. You deserve more subscribers. Glad to see Inmotion applying their design expertise to scooters as well as EUCs.

Great to see a video of the scooter internals.
Awesome looking machine 👍👌
Thank you so much for doing this!
Im impressed too. Tempted to buy one...

@EUCBodyguard Thanks! One more question haha, what color is the same as what comes stock on the RS, the yellow or orange?
Excellent review easy to follow well 👍

Your dealer should be able to contact Inmotion to get the ownership reset. I've done this before with a V11.
