the loud background porn music kinda distracting. I ruined 2 new tubes while installing the tyre back, so decided to entrust the installation of the 3rd tube to professionals)))
@@Hokunin Really... You need to get out more!
How many km will this scooter last? Is one used with 3000km worth a buy?
That really depends on the condition... I don't see why an RS couldn't do 10,000km if it is liked after. Do check the condition of the motor connectors though, there has been a bit of an issue with them melting.
@@EUCBodyguard What should i look for when buying it? It has 3000km and is in pretty good shape, besides dirt and dust, etc. No crashes or whatsoever. Also, is there an app where i can check the battery performance or health?
@@EUCBodyguard As in the part where i can unplug both motors? They melt?
@@lmaojasey921 Yes, if the scooter has been ridden hard for sustained periods, these connectors can fail.
Great vedio tutorial
That cable hardness won’t let the tire come down. How we get around it?
That's covered in the seeding video... ua-cam.com/video/BD1D1U6hi4s/v-deo.htmlsi=8lJkwiaY5lbGiGg6
I slid my RS yesterday turning to fast, its insanely fast lol, but where could I get that part u are pulling out at 15:16 those corner light pieces, one one side it was scraped clean and want to order 2 new corners for my right side. I have to replace the break as well, but honestly the RS held up great. Other then them minor scrapes, the metal was just barely touched. Ill eventually sand it down tho and repaint it due to I want mine to be red👀🏎️
"Insanely fast" is an understatement... We put a professional rider on our one and he was instantly just gone! The parts you are wanting are the Inmotion RS Bumpers (part numbers 400000027-400000029). They list each bumper as a separate part, but the opposite corners are identical, so I'm not sure why (they only need two). Looking at the parts list, the numbers do not come with the reflector in the middle, so you will need a couple of those two (part number 400000032). You should be able to get these parts from the dealer who supplied your RS, though you will probably have to wait for them to be shipped in from Inmotion. Also the reflective tape that covers the mounting screws don't show on the Inmotion parts list. You could source your own tape and just cut them, or you can order some from Roll.nz... www.roll.nz/accessories-parts/176-695-inmotion-rs-replacement-reflectors.html If you aren't able to source them from your local supplier, we can order some for you, though as we are in New Zealand (and depending where you are in the world), the shipping costs and times may not be the best. Email us at office@roll.nz if you would like to discuss in more detail.
Looks ok, but I needed more range
Thanks Kevin. Just what i needed. It kept coming up between my knees when going over small jumps. It's quite disconcerting! 😮
I'm glad it was useful!
Unfortunately couldn't see a thing that was going on
You couldn't see any video, or you couldn't see what I was doing in one part?
Thanks. You helped me to make this handle moving again
Very hard to lock once I unfold. Please help
For my unit, I find that tensioning the stem (by pulling forward on it a little) while lifting the main part of the catch ensures it fully engages. Then the front piece should push all the way back and you can hold it there while tightening the lock screw.
Needs Errex damper. Sweet scoot
Already has an internal adjustable damper, stock.
@@foam27 doesn't work. Explain to me that the pucks inside the damper need to be changed periodically. Weird scooters
@@foam27 think about it why would they put in their own piece of s*** damper when they need an e r r e x damper. To save money ..cheese ass's
Do the power pads work through the cover?
I haven't tried it myself, but customers have told us that the pads designed for the S18 do fit under the Bodyguard.
Amazing video. S22 is so well build. I actually broke both bottom plugs because I kept rolling the uni down the stairs while only holding the handle and when the step is too big the handle hits the limit and there is a lot of pressure on that. Anyway I was wondering if this piece can be 3D printed since its out of stock in EU shops it looks like. I can still buy it elsewhere...just wondering about possibilities of 3D printing.
3D printing should be possible, it isn't a structural part.
Great to see a video of the scooter internals.
Excellent video, mate. You deserve more subscribers. Glad to see Inmotion applying their design expertise to scooters as well as EUCs.
Thanks for the feedback... And, please subscribe if you haven't already! 😉 It will be interesting to see if the Inmotion ideas/standards are adopted by other manufacturers.
That anvil grab will make regrets!
Amazing internal design, it's such a breath of fresh air compare to Kaboo and others! This is in an entirely different league from a build quality standpoint!
By any chance did you noticed any type of USB C output port anywhere on the RS? I pre ordered one and downloaded the manual andnit said under the product specifications page i believe ots page 8 in the manual at the bottom it says "other" it says Output Port: USB C. Unfortunately no one has mentioned that and i wonder if its a typing mistake. Sounds interesting for phone charging.
I have just checked over our RS... Remember that this is a pre-production unit, but it doesn't have any USB ports that I can find.
Thats next level engineering.... maybe segway can be at that level....
Ginger on wheels opened it up and made a 18 minute video on the innards of this as well.
Thanks for that... It's good to see that he has similar thoughts about the RS. I notice that there is still no gasket. I think I want to look into that...
The swing arms look so cheap!
Fair call... Remember that this is a prototype though (with a mediocre paint job). I expect the production units to be more in line with Inmotion's normal standard.
Im impressed too. Tempted to buy one...
I've been waiting for an in depth look at the internals of the RS! Thank you! I ordered one back in July and it should be here in the next couple of weeks! I'd love to take you up on your offer for some extra laser cut reflector stickers. How can I buy a set from you?
Thanks. I am adding it to our website, but have realised that courier options make this far too expensive. So, I am looking to get some postal options set up... In the meantime, if you email us at office@roll.nz, we can work out a way to get them to you!
Replacement RS Reflectors are available on our website now... www.roll.nz/int/accessories-parts/176-695-inmotion-rs-replacement-reflectors.html#/234-colour-orange
@@EUCBodyguard Will you ship to the United States of America?
@@brandonbajc2084 Yes. I've added a postal option for shipping worldwide.
@EUCBodyguard Thanks! One more question haha, what color is the same as what comes stock on the RS, the yellow or orange?
Some serious engineering and effort into RS
Excellent review easy to follow well 👍
Awesome looking machine 👍👌
Doesn't look like any exposed components on the controllers at all. Completely sealed boxes. Quite impressive.
Thank you so much for doing this!
I definitely want to learn how to ride an EUC and ride safely. What a freedom giving form of travel. Balance, control, freedom!!! I wonder how far a 3600 watt hour wheel will travel?
A 3600 Wh wheel could get you from Auckland to Hamilton, or from Wellington to Palmerston North (riding conservatively)... Where are you based? We offer rider training sessions if you're near Wellington.
@@EUCBodyguard Based in Auckland. I don't have a wheel yet. Still researching for the best fit.
If you are keen to learn, I would suggest that you reach out to the FB group "Electric Revolution (NZ)" - there are a number of Auckland-based riders in the group and you might be able to convince one of them to meet up and give you some guidance!
@@EUCBodyguard Thank you for your care and your advice. Your thoughts are very much appreciated.
Impressive
I like your videos.
Thanks for that!
Great job. Good to see you
This is so cool! ^^
I was curious how you guys did this!
And there's a lot more that you don't see in the video... For example, the neoprene stretches differently with the warp and weft, so the rotation of each piece is important when it is cut... So some pieces stretch more "up/down" and some stretch more "left/right"... Factors like this have a significant impact on how the finished EUC Bodyguard fits and functions!
the hard plastic slides and doesn't make it tumble, any covering that grips will just make more damage in a wipeout
First! Hope you guys are well :) Love this insight into the process. Having got my own sewing machine out a bit recently I’m realising how difficult this kind of 3D thinking is!
Yes, we're all good (other than being too busy to ride as much as we'd like). Having seen it first hand (many times), I'm still amazed to watch how Chrissi develops each product... With my assistance and input, of course! 😉
Hi. Send to Brazil?
Yes, we can ship to Brazil!
And hows Kenda K50 (its for 16", not sure what model on 14") tire on wheel? Its for winter? or just offroading?

Is this update increase top speed to 40 km/h sir?
No, same top speed. Just less motor noise.
what tire do you use and where can i find it
Got my 14s King song in June 2022. Still waiting to get an NZ bodyguard. I got them for the 16 S's and I love them
This guy is a lifesaver and a saint
Thanks for the wonderful video. So I just have a flat on my king song 14s also on my 16s. The 16s is just losing air but it seems to hold air for a while. I believe I will just try some slime and pray that works
So I have my first flat. With my 14s. This looks terribly involved doing all this assembly and disassembly. I am going to squirt some slime in it and pray that works
Way to expensive. Just bought a second hand in motion v8 for same price as ur bodyguard 😅
Had to replace the inner tube again today after the last one popped, your video is still a lifesaver :)
this is torture!
