awesome review, love the tent, especially for a family, lots of room and those three points that you were making are definitely valuable points. The vestibule is so spacious too. Love the pockets. The fact that it's so budget friendly and free standing, you cannot beat it. Nice that it kept completely dry too.
Thanks Nicole!! Now all i need is an opportunity to use it in the field!! I'm curious how much of a drawback the weight will be!
After very long time guys .
Nice video, a wonderful and enjoyable tour, have a beautiful weekend . Thank you .
Great to hear from you again!! 👍 Thanks so much for checking back in!! 🤜🤛
I like it. Looks like it will fit most of your crew. Great demo Mark
Ya great room, no center pole, water proof... i can give Mister most of the weight!! 😉
Great review!! Thank you!
Hey you're welcome!! I hope it was helpful for you!! Thanks for dropping a comment!
Oh my gosh, finally, a DRY TENT! im impressed!
I know right!! I was pleasantly surprised for once. Still a pretty heavy tent too carry out though. Can't have everything for $130!
Happy day it went on sale! I didn’t think that time frame was to bad considering you were doing it by yourself! Nice big area inside, hope it doesn’t leak!
I know!! It was too good a deal to pass up! It will go alot faster with help! It definitely didn't leak! There was a big rainstorm and it did great! I was pleasantly surprised!!
Very nice tent review. Seems to be a value tent.
Thanks John! I was so impressed it started dry in that rainstorm! It was pretty intense. I've found budget Tents usually skimp on the water water proofing!!
Looks like you’ve found a nice budget tent for your crew there. I hope you figured out how to get that rain fly taught. That would bug me to no end lol. I like the little access door for the vestibule which also could double as a doggy door if your furry friends sleep in the vestibule although that never really works as ours usually ends up wedged between us at some point. Great review. I like the tent and hope it works out for you.
Hey thanks!! Yes that would be a good doggy door... in theory! I'm always leary to pull things TOO taught, especially with budget Tents! Afraid I'll rip it. It is heavy but i hope to get it out on an adventure this fall!! Hey thanks for watching and a great comment!! 👍 🤜🤛
I’m not sure if it is you or me who wear their own merch more! These guys really need to start sponsoring you guys. Your neighbors must be like why is this guy always putting up tents and flying his drone 😂. Rosalie is still asking about camping so we’ll have to give in for sure. So may have to get a tent like this. You answer all the questions am average person would have.
Haha ya I'm always wearing stuff for videos!! I have no ideas what the neighbors think of us... luckily i don't care haha!! Oh that's awesome! Ya this would be a great tent for newbies if you're backpacking. If car camping there are probably better options. Thanks, i try to be thorough... which is why the videos are so long!
Great review
Thank you very much!! 😀 🤜🤛
@@DMSAdventures just bought tent for $150 online because of your work. Thanks again
Oh man that's awesome!! Thanks for letting me know. I just put this tent up recently through a really bad storm and it performed flawlessly!! Other than it being a little heavy if you're using it for backpacking it's really spacious and a solid tent!
@@DMSAdventures happy to report it worked well on a 2 night trip in Custer SD. Almost 1” of rain on day 2 and we were leak free!
That is faaaantastic!! So glad to hear it!! Great little tent for the price!!
If you had to pick this or the trekker for backpacking, which would you pick and recommend?
I would pick the Trekker 3 over the Bear Creek 4. Again, just have to be willing to seal the seams and treat the fabric. It's very easy to do and still less expensive.
Holy cow! 9 lbs?! Trekker 3 sounds better. 😁
Ya its pretty darn heavy BUT you can spread that weight around to your other 3. It's basically a freestanding tent that may help you in rocky terrain. You can look at the Maxfield 4 too. If you can find it on sale it's a great tent. Big vestibules and you can sitar that weight around too. I got a video on that one too.
