Disney's Jungle Cruise was Walt Disney's favorite ride. Jungle Cruise has a rich history with the park and it is a must do ride. Did you know that the Jungle Cruise was first a very series ride. Did you know that this is the ride that made Walt Disney change his philosophy of Disneyland.
The Jungle Cruise was just updated in 2021 with all new scenes. Emily Blunt and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson are in a new movie called "Jungle Cruise". The new updated Jungle Cruise Attraction does not depict scenes from the Jungle Cruise movie.

When I was a young boy our family took the our elderly Godparents on the “Jungle Cruise “ and as we were getting on the boat, my Godfather who was in his eighties was having balance problems getting on the boat and as we steadied him the Captain of the boat made the comment that there was “ No dancing on the cruise.” I laughed so hard and still use that comment today at tense moment’s. It is a great ice breaker an calms many situations down. I was ten at the time I am now 68years old. 😎

It would be fun if they still handed out the maps at the end of the cruise when you asked for them. I framed one and put it in a powder room that I have in a Disney theme
The older I get, the more I love The Jungle Cruise. The dad jokes are just the best and it always seems to be practically a walk on too. It’s such a great and under appreciated ride.
That Jungle Cruise boat should come with a little voice recorder with Chris’ amazing puns! 😂 Chris for Skipper!
Liked the fun fact about the boats being on tracks. Always wondered if they were or not! The steering action by the skippers always looks so real!
This is also why they can easily let a child 'steer' the boat without worrying about the little skipper crashing into everything! It's a fun moment for kids!
I remember one time on the Jungle Cruise the skipper didn’t shoot off the gun, he waved the gun at the hippo a said “shoo, no get outa here” and later after announcing the backside of water he started chanting “O2H O2H O2H O2H”, it was rather hilarious. Always love going on this ride when I’m at Disneyland.

Watched the “Behind the Attractions: Jungle Cruise” on Disney + and heard that Bill Evans also got trees that Anaheim was removing when they were building the freeway and put them in the Jungle Cruise!
Also, since Walt’s apartment was backing up to the Jungle Cruise, the animal sounds were keeping him awake at night, so they had to turn them off!!! 😎

When Disney out out the big records with the books, my dad bought the Jungle Cruise one. And in one of the photos in the book is my mom, dad and oldest sister (when she was a toddler). It’s the coolest thing ever to see them in the book!

The African Queen was one of my moms favorite movies! I love that this ride was based on it!
l just saw the premiere of the movie "Jungle Cruise" and it was awesome. I saw it at a Regal Cinema 4dx and it was so realistic with the seats moving, water and mist in my face and I felt the seat move with every stunt and fall in the movie. It was like I was actually on the jungle cruise at Disney World even with "bad" jokes. loved it......
FYI "Siobhan" is pronounced "sha-VON." I don't make the rules.
And in gaelic "teach" is pronounced something like "chuck".

Great video as usual!! Yes it's crazy to realize how close Jungle Cruise is to the main entrance and Main Street! It's a wonderful thing though how the design of the park makes it feel like you've ventured off INTO or FURTHER AWAY...when actually you've back tracked. So cool!!

This is my absolute favorite ride! I remember writing it with my friends when my band from a small town in Nebraska got to play in a Main Street Day Parade.
This Jungle Cruise ride is great at anytime, but there is something especially ✨ magical ✨ about it at night!! 🦒🐘🐅🦓

I grew up going to Disneyland every summer when my mom and I would visit her sister who lived in Buena Park. It is so cool to see you walking around the place that has so many childhood memories for me.
I think 💭 enchanted tiki room was the one where audio animatronic was being introduced.
I believe that is correct! Based on a mechanical bird Walt got in Paris because real birds for a Tiki Room Restaurant would “poop in the food” according to Rolly Crump! 😎

I worked at the Plaza Pavilion (now called Jolly Holiday) in the 1980s. We would take our breaks on the Jungle Cruise boats backstage. The "uncharted area' where the boats are parked is directly behind the restaurant. The only time we were unable to have a break on the Jungle Cruise boats was during the 4th of July. They had diverted the guest's exiting the park to use backstage. Management didn't want any cast members to be seen taking a break, we had to go upstairs to a very small room to take a break. Also, that night there were no Jungle Cruise boats parked. Thanks for the video I learned things I didn't know about the attraction.
