I love my no date Submariner. I requested it after a lifetime achievement and that’s what I think connects me with the watch. The feeling was amazing when I picked it up after getting the call that it was In. I love wearing it and can dress it up or down and never feel out of place. And I prefer it over my Pepsi! Hopefully it grows on you, otherwise do what you think is right and what makes you happy. Cheers🥃
The Sub looks lovely. One of the most desirable designs in the world. Nowadays there are so many watch brands that take inspiration from this design. And of course the clones, super-clones, homage watches and downright replicas and rip offs.

I had the 126610LN and sold it. Looked at the mirror one morning and realized I was looking at an idiot as I missed the watch. Guess what I bought last week, yep another one, this one will never be sold. My wife would neuter me if I did.
You should have bought the Submariner, rather than the Submariner date. The Sub without date is a much better looking watch, and truer to its purpose. A dive watch shouldn't have a cyclops lens obscuring the minute hand that tells you how much oxygen you have left............It's true that many if not most won't buy a Submariner to dive with, but if you're buying a dive watch....buy a dive watch. if you want a date on your watch there are other options.
