Great job guys. Good to see the extensive talent employed at Upscale. Would be good to see a comparison between the HiFi Roase, Auralic and Holo May. Looking for more of these comparos. Cheers
Joel does a really nice job summarizing the differences, please do more of these comparisons. One issue with a single box that does multiple things is that adding a better DAC or streamer causes half of the original purchase price to be irrelevant. But the Auralic would have to be replaced altogether, and digital components have minimal resale value. Plenty of things to think about before making this much of an investment.
Thanks for the informative video. I believe that most people who use streamers are primarily using an app to select their music and control the device. Why didn't you actually use and compare the apps on camera? You spend over 6 minutes examining "Tonality" and less than a minute discussing the software that listeners will use all of the time.
Wrong album art shown at 4:34, should reference the *track* Muddy Waters, as performed by "The Seldom Seen" bluegrass band live at the Cellar Door in 1975, not the audience recording of the *artist* Muddy Waters from the same venue in the same year.
@@upscaleaudio Why not just answer the question. You guys have to do better. The video was 15 minutes long and the answers and info was about 8 minutes.
For settings, display options, like the clock and meters, switching between the apps, etc. the app works, but needs a lot of improvement. They’re working on it.
@@StanThePigeon sorry but it doesn't make any sense to me. I love the idea of a big screen, it's beautiful and useful and I think the Rose was a revolutionary product.. but touch??? It's a complete non-sense!!
@@Skye_the_toller absolutely... it's like adding a touch screen to your 75" TV. Complete nonsensical feature added to check a box in the features list.

I would definitely like to see more videos like this. You guys did a great job of describing the differences between these two excellent streamers.
We will!

I would love for ya'll to do this with the new Auralic Vega S1 in the future. I'm becoming more and more intrigued by that unit.
Thank you. Nice job. I'd love to know what you think of the Lumin U2 compared to these.
Good idea!
Great video, I have the Aires G2 and it's fantastic. You said you streamed of Qobuz but I can't find the Muddy Waters album anywhere.
Joel & Jordan Jordan & Joel
Informative and fun. Bring it On!
Thanks, My HiFi Hockey Pal!
You two guys need to take this show on the road😊 Kevin…. don’t let these two fellows ever leave your employ.
Fabulous comparison video. good job!!

Very well said! Tried Roon
Musiccast & DTS Play Fi ▶️
BluOS app interface is great 👍
Little out of content, but how would you compare the Lumin D3, T3 or Aurender A15 to these 2 that you reviewed?

Good catch thank you! Joel has shared some amazing music with us!
Which of those 2 would you recommend to match with Exposure 3010S2 Mono Power Amplifiers?
I can get you with one of our sales experts who know more but I think both would be great! What is the rest of your system?

Think the old guy has lost his marbles 😂😂😂
I'm having trouble getting a full sentence out of Joel. He switches right in the middle of a sentence.
Bring both back on again 😅😅😅😅
We will!
what's the point of a touch screen in a device you control from the phone/remote? This trend is stupid.
I have a RS130. It’s very useful, looks great, and sounds amazing!
Totally agree.
@@StanThePigeon looks incredible, but do you really use the Touch screen?? o_O

Eversolo A6 as a transport and LAIV Harmony DAC. The Rose suffers of flaky software.
Eversolo video should be coming soon!
Which would you recommend as a streaming transport only then?
But not future proof !
In technology? Nothing future proof… only money spent!
I cannot imagine that people will wake up crois the room to use the touchscreen! Crazy…
Older customers, who grew up without even a “Clicker”…. might. It would be a callback to their childhoods?
That’s all I got.
