Having worked in the Mile Long Bar,I can tell you that I still have Max, Buff and Melvin's singing burned in my brain and somehow it still makes me smile to see them
Thank you Martin. CBJ is my favorite show in Walt Disney World.
We vacationed at Disney World in 1974. I was at the CBJ every day. Still my fave after all these years. Heh...note my avatar pic. Its Max the Deer^^
That's awesome! I like the comparison. I gotta say...I went to WDW in 1994 (I was 7 or 8)...returned 21 years later (2015). It was on my list of attractions to visit before we left to go home. I think it's a must even for today's youth. It's a classic that is truly entertaining!
VERY sad this attraction is getting a retheme, although it is very much needed. Happy it's getting attention though. Thanks for preserving this for all of us who love this attraction.

Oh man I wish this had the original version of the show and not the horrible edits they made. It truly gives me a headache...so glad they're coming out with a new show.
It’s a new show but they’re not getting their own original songs. They’re just gonna be spouting Disney movie tracks in country genre. Ngl, as a fan of their original tracks they used to have, I’m heartbroken. 💔

In my opinion, Country Bear Jamboree should be in Grizzly Peak area in California Adventure.

I went to Disney World on the 9th of January this year, and this show still makes me smile and laugh, even though so many changes have been made. Excellent work!

every year on GayDays, the Bears gather to the 1:00pm show of this attraction and have a romping good time. that's my favorite.
As always, a great video from Martin! Superb editing. I noticed part of the usual ending has changed - the park shots look new and the years the various Disney Parks opened is no longer there.
I never saw the WDW version of the ride but it looks like the Disneyland and WDW version are pretty similar. I know your video is a tribute to the WDW version but a little nod to the DL parallel history would be cool. Otherwise, I love the video and it brought back tons of great memories.
What’s different about WDW’s version is that Melvin, Buff, and Max are on the right side of the theater instead of left.

I remember when CBJ was so popular they did the unthinkable - they removed two stores to put the queue inside!! (of course they came back later)

actually if we want to get technical, the Florida version of the Christmas Special didn't open till December of '84 as there were programming glitches that needed correcting (Florida was initially sent a carbon copy of the programming for California's version of the show but it wouldn't work for 2 reasons 1. the theatre Max Buff & Melvin were on the wall in Florida opposite the one they were on in California and 2)Max & Melvin were on opposite ends of the wall in California & Florida

+Wallace Phelps the current version of the audio as heard in the show hasn't been released so he had to edit it himself from the CD of the original to match what you were seeing on the screen.
