Michelle ive watch you now almost 3 years and am a 30+ years Esthetician and i have removed plenty of milla and you explained the exact way to remove Milla. I had a client that had a very large Milla on her cheek and I ask her if she wanted me to remove it and she told me her Derm was going to charge her 200.00 to remove it and she would have 2 stitches. I removed the Milla and didnt charge her to remove it she was very thrilled to have it removed. I am an educator how to have the best skin care that I custom blend to all skin types. I've always given to my clients more without charging I care about my clients and don't worry about helping them. So I say to you keep up what you are doing to help all that you can help. The problem is it has become all about money instead of how we can help and make our clients happy. Thank you Michelle keep up the great job you are doing ❤

I am also a LE and this is how I remove Milla, too. Well done, Michelle. And, Lila, we have a similar mindset on guest services. To me it's always about providing a plus one. I always ask myself, "What is the extra thing I can do for this guest to really make their day and make a positive difference." I think this is why I am drawn to your channel, Michelle. I see a similar philosophy. Sisters of the soul!! God bless you both.

“This is a video for people who live paycheck to paycheck“. Thank you! There is not enough emphasis on DIY treatments due to lack of funds. People point fingers and insist that everybody run to a physician for everything. That is not an option for most people, especially for cosmetic procedures. People without a lot of money deserve to look their best too.

I'm a hairstylist and esthetician, and I have zero problems with how you have done your research and emphasize the cleanliness and sanitation of the procedures. Excellent job. However, there are a LOT of do it yourself ers who do not actually do things based on research. They just do what they think is ok. That's dangerous. Thank you, Michelle, for being willing to talk about living paycheck to paycheck. I did that for years and it was so hard, and often scary. Even though I am financially stable now (not rich, but able to pay my bills with some left over), I still have trouble spending money sometimes. The fear of not having enough remains.

Ive been removing skin tags for years. Just tie a loop of thread around it and pull tight. Doesn't hurt. Falls of within 3 days, gone forever! You need to choke off the blood supply that feeds it. Easy peasy. Learned that from my surgeon father in law. Also as another poster commented....skin tags are the result of high insulin. Ive been low carb for 4 years now, no skin tags, no dark rashes anymore.

I quit my high paying job when my grandson (who is now 9) was diagnosed with autism at age 3. His parents needed someone to care for him when they were working & I am honored they asked me if I could help. I’m not going to lie, the first couple years on a very reduced income was difficult, but now I can’t imagine my life any other way. Great video Michelle! Just FYI, with the exception of your bra line (places with friction) skin tags are an external physical sign of high insulin. Your glucose could still read normal but your insulin could be high. All the doctors I follow and info I’ve read share this and suggest getting a fasting insulin test when you get bloodwork. It should be 5-12 mIU/L and your hbla1c should be 5 or lower. Under 5.3 is what we want. 5.7 is pre diabetic. Glucose really isn’t the best way to test your blood sugar as it can read in the normal range for years but your insulin at the same time is rising.(trying to keep the glucose in normal range) I had a lot of baby skin tags on my neck and when I changed my diet and lowered my “sugar” intake, I kid you not, they slowly fell off!🤯 However, since menopause naturally causes insulin resistance, my last blood test showed my fasting a1c went from 5.3 to 5.6.😳( it was 5.3 pre menopause)

Whatever we can do independently, safely, and on a budget, we should do. America was built on rugged independence. Of course, see the doctor when you need to. But if you can’t afford it, there’s no need to sit around and go without when we can share knowledge and resources with each other and help one another! That’s what God calls us to do.

Ohhhh yaasssssss!!!! I have been doing this treatment for my skin tags as well! Mine came from pregnancy too! So far, I have removed two. 1 of them developed on my face, right by my mouth....It was so ANNOYING! Lol. I was soooo HAPPY to have removed that one by my mouth. I had thanked the Lord over and over again for it! I had first seen this method from a young man that I follow on here. I forget his name, but I am so thankful that I watched his video. He did it on his own body to test it. It worked for him, so I did it too. I found out that I am allergic to latex that is inside some band-aid brands. That healed, but I was scared badly from using those bandages. I have 5 more to remove from my neck. I use the Bragg's brand with the mother as well. That's the only brand of ACV that I use. Lol, you're right about smelling like a salad, but it's worth it for me. I also use ACV for controlling the eczema on my face. I won't use it staright out of the bottle though, I will dilute it with water first. Then dip my cotton pad in it and apply it on my face twice a day. Once in the morning and once at bedtime. It's worked. The eczema is gone! Praise God! I'm glad that I came across your video. God bless you & thank you for being transparent about being a budget friendly YT influencer! 😘😁💯💖💖

I thought I was allergic to latex and bandages, but it turned out to be a sensitivity to adhesive. If I left a bandaid on for 48 hours, I would blister under the sticky part of bandage. Gauze and paper tape work better. Give that a try.

I wish I could give this video a million likes! I'm on a disability pension after medical mistakes caused a lot of health issues and handicaps. I've suffered from milia for ages, and it is never, ever one or two. Both my cheeks, under my eyes, the edge of my lips, and even my nose can be full of them! And I currently have them on most of those places. I honestly have no idea why I keep getting them, as I have excellent skincare and don't put weird things on my face.
I've managed to remove the one on the lip with a needle you use to pin clothing. Sterilised it in alcohol. That wàs painful, btw, but it was a big and deep sucker in a place with a gazillion nerve endings.
I wish I could do my entire face, but I just don't dare do the ones around my eyes (here you can't buy diabetic needles otc. I have needles of my own for B12 injections, but those are most likely too thick), especially since I don't have the right equipment. Plus, some are in really hard places, and I suffer from 2 conditions that don't make my hands the steadiest or strongest, nor can I keep them upright towards my face for a relatively long time. I fear I hàve to have it done professionally now. It's getting worse, too.
I spoke to an aesthetician just for info, and she told me that she hadn't seen it this bad in years (I told her I hadn't been able to afford treatment so it kept getting worse). Because it's now so bad, with many really deep as well, she said it would take 2 sittings 😢. She has also advised me to get a numbing cream from my family doctor. On that, I do disagree with Michelle. In some places, removing milia doesn’t hurt, especially when you're quick to handle them. But that isn't always the case. Sensitive places or very deep milia can be quite painful at times. At least, that's my experience. Apparently, my new aesthetician's as well.
Anyway...I have no idea how I'm going to afford this. I got a bit of extra back on my tax return, but that was supposed to go towards a second-hand couch, as the entire top layer of the fabric is gone AND you can put your hand in the cushions and touch the bottom 😒🥴 - as has been the case for a few years already. I'll figure it out! I always do!

I seem to only get them if I eat cheap bread and ramen type noodles (cheap wheat!). I eliminated both from my diet and have zero Milia. My skincare is very basic. Soap, water, witch hazel, PABA free oil of Olay (store brand). Good luck!

@@minecraftbuilder3110 I have suuuuuper difficult skin. If I would use what you do I probably would have open wounds on my face, brrr.
Anyway, I don't eat wheat 99% of the time. Only during a gastritis situation will I enter a half or quarter loaf per week as this tends to calm it. But then it'll be special bread from a bakery.
I think it's part of my extremely dry & sensitive skin situation. I didn't have them for a couple of years, ever since I introduced a certain skincare regime. Unfortunately one of the products got discontinued, I had to look for a replacement... got severe dermatitis from one of those and at the same time my immune system had a panic attack. I couldn't use ANY acids for a year, plus I suddenly responded badly to products that had actually helped me for years. That's when those nasty milia came back with a vengeance as well. I need to use lactic acid daily and an AHA twice a month + a sh*tload of mousturising products (A hydrating essence mixed with hyaluronic acid, then a hydrating mist or ampoule*, nourishing day cream and then a Ceramide cream mist throughout thev entire day to keep up the hydration. * Ampoules in autumn and winter, the mists when warm. The day cream is also a tad thicker in winter) to keep my face decent.
And then I'm not even speaking about the rest of my body 🤦‍♀️.
Anyway, long story short: I think those milia were holding up somewhere and as soon as their general saw that the enemy (acid+ certain moisturiser) had to retreat he formed a plan of attack. And it worked. They conquered a lot of facial real estate and have really dug themselves in...
Oh well. Be very lucky you seem to have such easy skin if all you need is some Olay (makes my skin burn) and soap. 😉

Retinol eye products help with milia too. Of course takes longer, but helps bring them to surface so easier to remove.

Michelle, you are spot on telling it like it is. We've all been there living paycheck to paycheck and it is rough. I have insurance and I think the last time I had skin tags zapped that I ended up having to pay out of pocket due to not being covered. Unreal! The Milia scares me because of my vision but I'll look into the skin tag at home treatment if needed. I have only had 1 Milia and it went away on its own (thank God). Thank you for keeping it real! Hugs, KC

I use to think my mom was crazy when she would remove her own skin tags, but here I am doing it as well. I just take small clean cuticle scissors and snip it off. Doesn’t hurt and gets rid of it right away. Good tips Michelle! Thanks for looking out for people trying to save money! ❤

That's exactly how I remove mine. I clean my hands, the skin tag, and my scissors and snip them right off. My dermatologist told me it was just fine to do. But lately I've been using Dr. Scholl's Skin Tag remover to freeze them off because the derm freezes mine off and they can only take off so many at a time because of insurance.

Thank you Michelle.. I’ve got one under my eye I hate I’ve tried to mash it but I have lancets .. I’m a diabetic I have insurance but I can’t get to the dermatologist.. we’re in a small rural area.. I get my hair done once a year now it’s gotten to expensive and listen my dad was a barber stylist for 40 years and I support all the beauty services.. but I can’t pay 150$ 200$ or more for some foils and cut… they don’t even style your hair these days that’s extra & I understand it’s fine.. but my dad did men’s & women’s hair for years and he never would have sent any woman out of his shop without styling their hair…
