I love Enduring Word, I use the same app, I’ve been following the Chronological Bible, I’ve started March 1st with my sister and we have Bible studies every Tuesday evenings, along with Wednesday night Bible study’s too, we are also doing the book of Romans right now, I’m literally Day 126 I believe. When I study the Bible I am careful who I allow to interpret the Bible. Instead I let the Bible interpret itself and use a concordance. Compare scripture to scripture. I ask for the holy spirit’s guidance and understanding. The truth is in there and not all commentators understand the Bible so it’s misinterpreted. If I am using a commentator I ask is this truth? Reliable historians of the Bible confirm scripture. The Bible is a historic book, prophetic, and poetic. If I don’t understand something I don’t worry as I know the Lord will reveal it to me. I have to be in the right spirit and have the right understanding before I can grasp what is being said. Experiential knowledge is a great teacher. When I share what I’ve learned with others I use the Bible scripture only. If I share things that are someone else’s interpretation and it can’t be confirmed through the Bible I would not use it.
