The dresses here are so old fashioned. British mother’s don’t like the frumpy styles. Look at UK bridal shops to see the beautiful outfits we wear. So stylish.
I think this was from 2013, BUT it still seems so old fashioned even for 11 years ago 😬
Here in S.A. the mother picks her own dress
I went on my own in London and picked my own beautiful dress from Fortnum and Mason. Everyone loved it.
Here in England the mother of the bride doesn’t wear this type of evening dress style, maybe to change into for the evening reception but not for the actual wedding.
It's different in the States
Different in Australia too .
In Jewish weddings the mother of the bride wears evening dress

It seems all flamboyant.
I think Britain needs to switch it up 😂🎉
I just found this show rn..and I love it❤
The mother who cried was beautiful
Mom looks stunning in red
I like this better than the bride finding dresses. And some people do need help, especially for important occasions. Help build confidence
Love this program, never seen it before.
I'm sorry but the stepdaughter was an opinionated pain in the a@@se
Marion needs updated hair and glasses
Absolutely stunning in red
We tried to make sure that the mothers of bride and groom chose colours that a) suited us and b) didn’t clash with the bridesmaids colours. And didn’t take from the bride!
the dresses are very old fashioned
Theses so called experts, are old fashion in what they pick
I hated assistants “ helping “ to choose dresses . I choose myself .
Do people go just to insult the dresses?
It seems so. I went on my own to get my dress for my younger daughter's wedding. It was vety unusual. I bought it in London from a
Harrods.
Can I be honest,
Marian needs a way fresher haircut. Would make her look younger
Having a new body is scary in the beginning
Candy you look fabulous.
Sweety your mom is a WOMAN!!!!
Oh waaw looking stunning in red!!!!
When mom starts to dance, she s happy
The blonde one is mean. She lost so much weight, and probably doesnt realis how much she has changed. They coule have been kinder
I love the teal jackets the assistants wear.
😂
You do ?? Wow !
Why oh why are they all like old fashioned prom dresses… they are soooo dated … these lovely woman could look so much better… here in New Zealand we’d never see mums in these types of dresses as mother of the bride
I would be the Grandmother of the bride but would never wear any of these hideous dresses.
Sorry peeps.
I never wore beige ever , to any wedding including my kid’s .
I wore Peach for my! younger daughter's wedding and Royal Blue for my older daughters. I have always been so lucky I can wear any colour. Even even now it is still the same.
(Thank goodness)
Te veel ou dames wat mense help. Kry bietjie jonger bloed in
ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. AFSCHUWELIJK 😢
Het kan ook wel fijn zijn om geholpen te worden door iemand dichter bij je eigen leeftijd. Ik weet niet hoe oud dit filmpje is, maar de jurken zijn wel ouderwets en erg formeel. Toch leuk om te zien!
I dreaded formal functions in the US ..... The look for American ladies was either way too much the matron or far too much mutton dressed as lamb.
I fell about laughing at "the Royal Wedding of Houston" ..... Queen of Applebees??? And then we have the "Stylish Blonde" ...... Dressed 1990 old cheerleader. The second mother who actually lost weight (instead of lipo) was a lovely elegant lady who just needed some confidence ..... She also looks younger than 60.
Some of these brides need a reality check. They have no idea whatsoever about 'Royal'.
CAT LOVER WE'RE THE BEST🙌🏻
Horrible dresses in that shop, like the worst of the eighties' fashion all collected in one place.
It's not her mother's day it's her day ffs
Both Mom's looked beautiful in their dresses!
Marian should go for a stylisher haircut and wear contact lenses, that would make her look even more beautiful! 🥰
Please send your consultant Margaret into retirement!
1. She doesn't listen to her customers!
2. Her taste of fashion is awful!
3. Her comments are often very rude and disrespectful towards her customers and their entourages!
Doesn't make a very good recommendation for your business at all!
You definitely need some younger consultants and change parts of your collection into the modern lines!
I absolutely don't like to be mean, but unfortunately most of your dresses are looking old fashioned and outdated!
I said that about Margaret retiring. Passed her sell-by date.
Dark pink. Does she mean Dusty Pink ? If so, say so. Mind you 🙄
This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen, borderline comedic 😅
Mothers always make it about them.
Brown is boring !
That hairdresser was arrogant
Margaret needs to retire.
Some of the dresses do seem dated & not suitable for a wedding.
