Such an informative vlog for the new babies here 🤣, i had it rough in my very first months and I was unlucky to meet bitter Kenyan’s full of just competitions but I was Lucky my husband’s big family were so accommodative and they became my first best friends. Am a year old now here....but I learnt later it’s not about just meeting, but WHO YOU MEET. I came to learn too that everyone came here on different ways, with different perspectives, different mentalities and we all live different life’s too, If you by mistake associate with those who aren’t happy about their life’s, “They gonna extend their unhappiness towards you too..” YOU WERE ALL LUCKY TO MEET SUCH SMART BEAUTIFUL SOUL’s. Thanks for the vlog sweetheart and i have start smelling the 1000subscribers from the 20’s subscribers we were❤️.
Winnie Buyaki thank you my dear for being here from the start, you’re awesome! It’s very unfortunate that you met “the wrong friends” but the fact that you married into a wonderful family is amazing . We all have different characters and moving to the Netherlands helped me to understand that as well. Accepting the differences and learning how to live with and cope with those differences makes life easier and fun. Let me know if there’s a specific topic you would like me to touch on 😘

Hi, love your video. My Kenyan wife has recently moved to The Netherlands from Kenya. And she loves it here but she does experience days of homesickness, any tips for her? Thank you so much!
Hi , thank you for watching my video . It is very normal for your wife to feel homesick. The Netherlands is very very different from Kenya, when one is new here they get lonely coz social life here is not the same as back home. It is very difficult to make friends and even if you do, they’re always busy with work, with kids, making appointments to meet up is always an issue. Honestly, It will take time before your wife gets used to the culture here but it’s not impossible. She can, try find a hobby. If there’s something she likes to do, she needs to start doing it. Reduce her expectations. When we move here we always have really high expectations. We think we will get the best jobs, we will make lots of friends etc. When I reduced my expectations and just took every day as it comes, I started to accept that this is a different life and things will never ever be the same. She should also learn how to do things by herself and for herself. Go to the city and do nice things, eat or drink something at the local restaurant/bar by herself. Go for long walks with you or alone. Accepting the life she has now and stop comparing it with the Kenyan one will really help her. She’s a strong woman! Not everyone can move to a new country leaving behind everything that she was familiar with. She will be fine but she has to do it all by herself now.
I really want to know you ladies...I am a mother of 3 boys living in the US since 1999. I go to Kenya frequently, I would be happy to do a stopover for a meetup. You ladies are doing amazing things...Let me know when you ladies want to visit the US...I love the energy

africa has so much potential. economic prosperous times are right around the corner. you should consider moving back. don't miss out the great opprotunities that are in africa
Hi person , it’s true Africa has much potential but the opportunities are given out to specific people. Economic prosperity is for a certain “group” of people!!! There’s no equality there and there never will be. Going back just because there’s “potential” is not an option for me. Plus my life is here now, there’s better opportunities here for my son !
Hello Nimo, (and your friends), I like your presentation. It must be helping very many Kenyans. Kenyan woman myself came here for love (you put it very well). Been here 15+ years.
