I just found your planner and subbed! I run two businesses from home and homeschool. I love my classic FC planner and carry it with me when I'm out and about in a big tote which also holds my small crossbody purse for running into stores. All my appointments go into my phone first onto my Google calendar, and then I transfer them into my paper planner at the beginning of the week and throughout the week as needed. Like a previous commenter said, my online calendar is the single point of truth for appointments. And keeping track of two bags is much easier than mirroring all info between two planners. Thank you for making this video! I love your delivery style.

I dont understand using two planners just for small purse purposes. I carry a small purse and an A5 planner. I just carry it all in a tote bag during the week and only take my purse into stores.

2 planners one bag // 2 bags one planner - same game, different players 😆🙌🏽
I have to admit, after road testing for a week I'm not completely sold, but it's all a fun experiment!

What a wonderful solution to your purse dilemma! Putting the LV to use! Perfect!

That's what I thought... but my expectation vs my reality - they're not quite the same 🥴😆

Same issue here! Bought a small notebook but it doesn't work.
I want a small planner with a calendar. Your little Louie is fabulous!

After testing this for a week I'm not completely convinced (keeping 2 appointment schedules up-to-date is 🥴) , but it's early days - I might find/think of a different solution to test...

    Hi
New subscriber. I use a large 8 1/2 x 11 inch planner for everything!!! It’s about 3 in thick as well. lol
I carry a very small planner / calendar in my purse. It’s roughly 4 x 5 inches and very very thin, I put appts in it only. I carry a separate tiny notebook for misc notes - it’s roughly 2 x 3 inches. Then when I get home I can transfer everything to my big planner. It’s worked well for me. Good luck sorting it out. 🙂

      Hey thanks for the sub!
This is the conclusion I've come to so far after a week of road-testing - I not a complete fan... yet. Simply because I have to transfer and keep 2 schedules up-to-date.
However, I recognise this process is a new habit that I have to add to my end-of-day routine, so I'm not quitting yet!
I'm glad to hear it is a process that works though - that fills me with hope 😊

@@PlanningwithChloe it gets easier with time. PS - love your accent! Yes, I’m American.
Am from Alabama and my accent is bad lol

@@andreaf.6572 I think that's how everyone feels about their accent (I feel the same about mine, accent and voice 🙃) But I love listening to interesting accents! Here in the the UK it's the Northern accents, in the US it's the Southern accents - they're both welcoming and down to earth. I love it!

I use my google calendar for appointments because I always have my phone on me and because my husband and I share a calendar. However I'll take a passport sized traveler's notebook or a micro-sized happy planner (yes, I'm a discbound girl) for notes, quotes and ideas on the go!

    Lovely planners!
I am a one planner girl, too, and struggle with this same issue. I suppose I could use my phone calendar when I’m out but I don’t like using it and rarely update it. Have you thought about a pocket Moleskine? I might go that route.
Please post an update after a few weeks of your new system and let us know your thoughts!

After testing for a week I'm not a total fan, just because I now have 2 schedules to keep up-to-date and it's 🥴
I think it's a case of securely incorporating it into my end-of-day routine!

@@PlanningwithChloe thanks for the update! I totally get the hassle of updating two calendars. I feel like something will fall between the cracks! But if you can make it work, it will be nice to have a small planner on the go with you ☺️

@@charlottesfinds3043 That's what I love the most - I have my appointments to hand as a tactile, pen to paper process (which is my happy place). Plus somewhere for notes/reminders on the go!

Using the calender app (native app, Calendars App or Fantastical App, either one of those will do). of my phone for ALL the appointments (as single point of truth) and only put them into my paper planner at the beginning of the month (monthly view) and beginning of the week (weekly view). Appointments tend to get shuffled around anyways. Best of both worlds.

    • @PlanningwithChloe

YES to the "single point of truth", such a great phrase and definitely something that's needed when it comes to a schedule - and one of the issues with writing things down in 2 places / transferring to month/week. I may have to rethink my plan, but it's all a fun experiment 😅
