Hello Daphne, I have a heated mattress pad . I absolutely love it so much better than the blanket . I move around in my sleep and no waking up because my feet hit a cold spot . We don't have heat in our bedroom . However I believe we will have to run the dish heater this winter . It feels colder now then the previous Octobers .

So for me, I really really love the *visual* satisfaction. I dont react at all to ASMR videos, but I love and adore good organization - and diamond painting really does the best of that!
So for me, seeing the full process - mistakes and silent spots and all - is my favorite thing ever 😊
But of course, UA-cam and the online world really is a place where you are fighting for the time of the viewers. You *could* argue that a video without cuts is less polished and thus less worthy of your time.
I myself dont think so at all, I enjoy the full process. But I can see how it goes both ways.

Since you are so goal oriented, maybe setting monthly goals for getting rid of stuff would help motivate you. Personally I have a terrible time getting rid of anything. I always want it to go to someone who needs or appreciates it. I just can't make myself throw away perfectly good stuff!

My first ever event will be DP for Vets. I don't have a UA-cam channel but started watching diamond painting videos to learn tips. I like to watch unboxing from different DP company's, especially budget friendly ones.

There are only 2 events I have done - SWTM because I love classic art and Smashing the Specials because those kits are so fun. I don't compete for prizes for any of them. I can't do many evens because I love giant canvases and they take 3-4 months complete.

I’m the same as your husband, but I have found that now having an elderly parent I need to go through my things that were left with him while I moved to South Carolina. I kept two DAC kits here (acquired on a recent trip to keep me busy before I started grad school). I am now hoarding DAC kits, lol. I am enjoying square kits more than round for some odd reason.

When the season changes I hang clothes in the closet with the hanger backwards from back to front. After wearing I hang the regular way, front to back. If at the end I have something still hung back to front I know I didn’t wear it and I get rid of it. Keeps everything slimmed down and not overwhelming.

I really enjoy the “try something outside your comfort zone”, I can’t recall the name at the moment. But the concept is try an artist you haven’t yet tried, or a company you haven’t yet done. Or if you a portrait preferably, maybe try a landscape.
I think a “clear your stash” event would be awesome for kits that you can’t find an event it will fit within, I’d really like the opportunity to pick a kit I really want to do or two. So many events are so focused on particular themes or artists. I’d also like a “CHALLENGE yourself” event. Do the biggest kit in your stash, or the one with the most colors. Or if you only like rounds, challenge yourself to do a square. Just some fun thoughts I’ve had. I really enjoyed the event that reminded you of someone you love, living or passed. I think it was a Bellaartsdpalong event If i remembering right.
As for your DP for vets. To me it makes perfect sense. November being Veterans Day month. But maybe a small description of what’s allowed & requirements may be helpful to some. There’s always going to be people that ask questions, I think that’s one of the event hosts least favorite part, of people asking if their kits count, even through most the time they have NOTHING to do with the event. Or they ignore the size requirements. Or just people stretching to make a kit fit by stretching their explanations 🤦♀️ makes me feel bad for the hosts

I've been diamond painting for about seven years and I'm doing Hannathon now which is my first event. I'll probably do a couple next year I personally don't like events that has a lot of rules . This is suppose to be fun and relaxing so I only pick easy events. I enjoy your videos. You have such a soothing voice.

I hang almost everything up. I wear something and put it in the back and wear the next item. If I come to something and don’t want to wear it, it goes in the “to go” box

I have done 2 Randall Spangler events for the last two years just because I absolutely love his artwork. Why don't you call your event DPforveterans. Everybody wouldn't know what that means. I totally understand what you mean about the spicy food covering up the taste of what you eat. Over here in Europe, they always eat a sauce on top of their steak. When they ask me what sauce I want, I say none because I actually want to taste the steak. The waiter always leave with a perplexed look on their face.😂 If you have household items that you know you want to get rid of and they are in good condition, you could call a woman's shelter and see if anybody that is moving out needs those things. I used to do that all the time when I lived back home in Canada. 💜😊💜

Drills and Chills are on their 5th year running I think. Drills and Chills is my very first DP event I've participated in. I wish there was specifically a Harry Potter event even though the Halloween events allow Harry Potter kits. It would be cool to have it in September since the first day of Hogwarts happens. Either that or have in July for Harry's birthday. I'm like we have a specified Chuck Pinson event...

I understand that being a creator you see the others do the matchy-matchy, but necessary no. I’m here for the company, info, and just diamond painting. The nails, pens, and accessories are just whatever’s. I’d rather just have you do you. I don’t know how you would do the closet cloths box thing if you have weather changes. Today it is 72 tomorrow it will be 84. I have limited space for cloths (taken up by diamond paintings, haha) so I have a rule if a buy a piece I give up a piece. If I join events (I’ve only done 2) it is more to support the creator then win in general. I think that you will know in enough time that you could cancel the event with no problem. Good Morning, I've been Diamond Painting for a couple of months. I've seen there are some online dp events. When I listen to the rules, one rule is the dp needs to be by a licensed artist. I ordered some kits from Diamond Art Paintin'. They have a statement that says "Diamond Art Paintin offers the largest selection of official Diamond Painting Kits in the world. Our Diamond Art is officially licensed - the original artist is fairly compensated!" I sent them a message asking if the artist name would be included in the kit. Their answer No. So does that mean I wouldn't be eligible to have a chance to win a prize? Not that a prize is necessary, but just for the fun of it. Thank you for your informative videos!
I’ve not heard of that store, but generally if it is licensed, the artist’s name will be somewhere on the canvas. You’d have to check the event rules, but again, generally, if the rules says licensed, it needs to be officially licensed. Thanks so much for watching!!
I like your kit up vids more than anybody's unboxing or finish vids. The other two are boring to me cause, A they just are and B, if we have those dpings, why do we want to see your finish? And Unboxings... just go look at the shops. They have pics of them and thats good enough for me. My personal opinion. I know everyone has them.
