Notice at the end, when they open the beer, it sprays all over? Same experience here. The opener is worthless unless you like pouring half your beer out every time you open one. It's like whoever designed it has never opened a beer bottle.
Thank you for showing this. I’m thinking of getting a decked system after I get a 1 ton truck. My only hesitation was if I pull a gooseneck, but it looks like it shouldn’t be that hard to remove and pull a gooseneck trailer.
This system is completely different for a tacoma. The 5ft bed system came with a super bulky frame that bolts down to the bed. It took me and another guy three hours to remove and install it his truck.
Been looking at this for several years now. Finally is available for midsize trucks but now I find out they aren't using the installed track systems in your bed. For midsize trucks they are expecting you to drill holes in the bed and that's not going to happen. This is why Nissan developed the utilitrac system for truck beds, and I assume others have their own copied versions. So you mount equipment such as this to the tracks in the bed, and not go drilling holes through your truck.
Nothing but problems with the system. Ordered an ATV, loaded it up on the system and it caused the drawers to not be able to open. Decked had to send me a whole new top panel and I don’t even know if that’s going to fix the problem. Not happy considering they advertise this to haul ATVs but then their customer service tells me that I need to keep the ATV on a piece of plywood ( dangerous) to distribute weight. The ATV is 700 pounds
Hey there. Sorry to hear about the issues you are having. You should easily be able to load and haul and ATV on your DECKED system. We do recommend with anything that you distribute your load. The 2000lb payload isn't a pinpoint load so a piece of plywood or diamond plate is always nice to have. A new panel and distributing your load should solve your issues but we are happy to work with you if not and help out in anyway. Give us a call at 208-806-0251 or shoot us an email to orders@decked.com.
A 2x4 is really only 1 1/2" not 2". You said to wedge a piece of 2" material under the draw to get the wheels off when you really only used 1 1/2" material. It looked to be a piece of a baluster for a railing that's 1 1/2 same as a 2x4.
Agreed. For my ‘21 Ranger Super Crew, I have bracket attachments @ the corners, near the cab. I wish it had the more easily accessible j-hook setup @ all 4 corners; also wish I had known this prior.
Hey Sean, unfortunately we don't. We have seen people remove one side when they need to use the full depth of the bed but the Drawer System does have a 2000 lb payload so plenty of space to still haul if that's what you might be worried about.
@@Decked Thanks for the reply. Y’all need to develop a decked bed slide system that is modular so you can add and remove segmented storage units as needed to make more room in the bed. My issue is that I can’t place luggage in the bed and secure it with a bed cover with the decked system installed. It would all be exposed to weather.
False. I literally used this video to uninstall my Decked system and it was a shit show. WAY too many parts and it's a huge pain to uninstall. Took me like 2-3 hours.
Still looking for that 17 by 16 inch socket!!??

Decked has the best videos

There is a different installation setup for composite beds! We try to make this info as clear as possible on our site!
@@Decked is the temporary uninstallation as cumbersome? Any vids on that?
I need one for inside of my truck that’s lockable for a couple of carbines chest rigs and of course extra mags
Drawer System is lockable, as well as our D-Box!

Cry me a river… go buy a real truck.
Cry about it
he opened the beer upside down ..
Feature not a bug
Thanks for sharing guys 👏👏
No problem! Glad it was helpful!
Is Nicholas Cage narrating commercials now?
More like Keanu Reeves...

👏
Only comment to add is they need to update for new lower crossbar. They just need to redo the audio part with that update.
Please redesign the bottle opener. The thing is upside down. Thanks
Not for midsize truck decked system it’s a different way

Do you sell a half system? I would like to maintain full bed depth on one side.

Can this system be split so i can put ot in a box van ??
We do not sell a 1/2 system at this time. What van are you lookin got instal the system in?
@@Decked i have a 16' box van . Its around 8' wide i want a slide out on one side about 2' over. Half of this would be perfect
I wish they sell half side only too. It will be awesome just take half side of my bed
@@dantedanis let's go halves on one... I just want one side too lol.
Can I buy and install just one drawer assembly...just for the half of the truck bed?
Nope. Its a whole system.
These steps do not work for the mid size version. Much more difficult to remove.
Hey Sean, you are correct. The installation and removal process for the mid-sized system is more difficult. Apologies if this video lead you astray.
WTF is a "J-hook"? Maybe actually showing it to us would be helpful... :(
The J-Hook is the hook that connects the Drawer System to your tie down hooks in your bed. Apologies for the confusion!

What size is this garage..lol
Video isn’t accurate with current design. 🤦🏻♂️
This is our Legacy Drawer System
The video is 7 years old. What do you expect 🤦
