Heritage Speaks #3: Preserving Icons at Angkor and Koh Ker, Cambodia.

On May 21, the third Heritage Speaks, in partnership with World Monuments Fund, will spotlight Cambodia’s Archaeological sites Angkor and Koh Ker, and the cutting-edge efforts undertaken to preserve and restore the historic landmark.
The panel discussion will feature Yiannis Avramides, Senior Director of Programs of World Monuments Fund, Eric Bourdonneau, Archeologist of Ecole Française d’Extrême Orient and Yves Ubelmann Co-founder and CEO of Iconem. This discussion will be moderated by Darlene McCloud, Executive Vice President of World Monuments Fund. The discussion will illuminate issues the sites are facing, including natural erosion and looting, and the challenges in creating a balanced tourism system.
