@@KurtisHooey I prefer coal fired because of the involvement with the engine. To me it gets you more activity with the locomotive, but coal can be extremely hard at sometimes to stay lit. Especially when is humid out. But propane fired locomotives make it easy to get up and running quickly, because you don’t really have to worry about keeping the fire lit.
That’s neat! Are they propane fired? The two that I run, one is coal and one is propane. I prefer the coal fired.
Both are coal. My engine is propane however, I've never operated coal. Is there a reason you like coal more? I'm considering converting my engine
