TCL revealing their stack from the bottom up is real confidence. They don’t have to rush to the floor with their top end flagship to boast mediocre improvements.
Perfectly said! Thank you for watching!
Hisense and TCL are improving
My 2019 TCL 4K 60hz tv is still running strong. Picture quality is still great too. I added a roku ultra this year and the picture quality improved. Im getting a 2024 QM8 real soon
I have a Hisense 65H8F 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD HDTV and I have been very happy with it for 5 years now. It's a great brand so far. The only problem was the original factory remote's buttons, but I found great exact replacements on Amazon.
Fighting with allstate Insurance [Costco] on my failing LG 65" CX oled, Processor. Bought Hisense U7N 75".
I will check this video out in the morning while having my coffee ☕️. 😊
I gave the 65"U8N a chance and after about a month I bought the 85" too haha.
You killed that intro Brian! Great job!🫡📺
@jasonsims3486 thank you as always my friend!
Great Review. U GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!! THANK U
Thank you so much Carlos!
Another great review regarding the hisense and TCL TVs, I live in the UK and TCL and hisense have been quite restrictive over here but last year both companies started to bring out their top-end TVs, I've always been a Sony TV guy, but the way that hisense and TCL are bringing out their TVs not only for cost but for their technology and Innovations. I am considering one of these two TVs this year but at the 100" in Mark. Thanks guys for your content. It's always really good listening to yours and hearing your point of views. Keep up the good work. Regards
My S90C broke so I'm replacing it with the 98 Inch TCL QM8. Picked it up in sale for $2999 with a $200 discount and free installation. Plus 5 percent back so basically $2,500 for a 98 inch Mini LCD is crazy.
I wanted to wait until Spring and after I move, but I wouldn't have a TV other than my 65 CX and its hard going back to 65 and the PQ on the CX is "bad" compared to current tvs. And I didn't want to miss out on a good deal
How did it break?
@@alexpulchritudoff7999 last update messed up my audio
There should be a minimum 2 year warranty for a purchase of this price. I'd have gone to Samsung for a replacement or fix - Even if you then just sell it.
Good price. Congratulations!
After owning the Sony X90L with the newer clear picture processing XL the one thing I couldn't downgrade from is that overall performance of most everything from motion to upscaling and color accuracy, local dimming creating deep contrast and clarity across the board no matter what platform.. is it perfect? Definitely not, but there's nothing that annoyingly distracts me from any of my movies, gaming and shows. Hoping these brands that aren't completely price gouging catch up! They're getting really close.
I also adore the all-rounder tvs. They are the best. I highly tune the sound EQ, color but mostly the motion so edges are sharp and follow motion (do not "wave"). I personally set one setting and forget. That's a good tv when that's possible. My LG CX just passes the grade. It has flaws but is ok. I can imagine newer tvs with faster processors would handle edge motion better.
Which one is the more durable please?
They are actually about equal with each one improving each year
Looking forward to seeing how that screen technology from TCL using the screen inkjet printing improves contrast
What new tv would you recommend of the new ones coming out with regard to glare. Would the Samsung most likely be the best?
What happened to Sony making stuff in house? Why have they stopped producing quality parts/innovation in house? The best electronics use to come from Japanese companies, made extremely well and last a long time also.
I'm considering TCL this year x11k my question will be about processing how good?
Excellent! That is their focus my friend
Game over for the Japanese and Korean TVs.
hows the picture with live sports?
I hope the Motion for every day tv 📺 watching is nice and smooth on the new TCL product , this needs to be tested in all inputs if you can do a video on MOTION all input
TCL 👍
Aftersales is a red herring to raise prices. A company will project the after sales cost based on the materials and workmanship afforded on the product. Save on manufacturing payout in after sales. Companies do not need to add cost for aftersales.
Another example is software. Spend money on developing better code and reduce aftersales costs.
Sony wants to make money on cheaper costs and raise prices. Not on. So they and other companies are losing market share to tcl and hisense
The other part of the TCL excitement is what they have done year on year to the mini QD led technology it’s now high end at affordable prices. Not to mention when they go on sale…
High end technology that performs close to the best of the best Sonys that formula high end affordable technology = wow!! That’s what really gets consumers excited affordable to the masses… Sony might become niche unless they drop prices… competition is a great thing for consumers.. 😊
I have a Hisense 75U6G and the wifi and wired connections have failed. Running through a firestick 4kmax and still get a good picture. Shoul I have it repaired or get a TCL qm6k?
Maybe time to upgrade if you are able.
Nice video fellas. Love the content. Going to get a 77 inch G5 for bedroom. How much will it hit my wallet when it gets released you think? Thx fellas! 👊🏼👍
NA$A has a 117 inch miniLED with 7,000 zones and 8,000 nits, but it's still just a prototype.
TCL technology is very exciting I heard their representative say to another UA-camr that the QMK series will have up to 12,000 dimming zones! I am looking to get the 75 inch QMK7 a step up from the QM6K for an amazing price later this year 2025…that will be my happy TV 📺 for years to come based upon your latest QM6K review ^__^=
Those are my thoughts too. I want the best bang for buck 75" TV this year. I want to see what Hisense is going to come with but that video of the TCL QM6 going toe to toe with the Bravia9 on most images was VERY interesting. How much better are the QM7 and QM8 going to be?
We need TCL to stop playing around and give us the W-HVA panel already and better processor. 98” buyer here 😎
which will make a cheap 43" oled first
Neither my friend! They are both led monsters. Thank you for watching.
Is your dad still using that older high-end Sharp TV? I’m still holding onto my Sharp Elite-the only LED TV to ever win the Value Electronics TV Shootout. Even today, no modern TV can match its SDR picture quality, and its black level performance still surpasses 98% of current flagship mini-LEDs.
I recently did a side-by-side comparison in a completely dark room, running blooming and black level torture test demos on both my Elite and my new TCL QM851. The Elite crushed it-an LED TV from 2011 outperforming a top-tier model from today!
This panel was something special-a no-compromise collaboration between Pioneer and Sharp. When it launched, the 60-inch model retailed for $6,000, which would be like spending $10,000 on a TV today!
I am if they make micro led
job well done👍
Thank you
Meanwhile, Vizio completely dropped off the radar. They used to be the value talk of the town with the P Quantum X
116! 116! 116! Let’s goooo
With the PLA! It's arms race alright!
