I got to see a racetrack full of these at the SVRA event sponsored by Alfa at Virginia International Raceway. They could lift a wheel in corners the chassis is so stiff.

Vedi caro questa ne è la prova del discorso che abbiamo fatto ieri 😉😉😉😉, la storia del motorismo che non torna più, tra l' altro chissà quella Giulia quanti duelli e aneddoti avrà passato e vorrebbe raccontare. Certo che sentire il suono dello scarico semi libero e quella specie di risucchio di aria dai carburatori mi fa venire la pelle d'oca😨😨😨. E poi parlando di storia quale motore migliore di questo nelle corse abbia un palmares così vincente!!!!
Già, ti dirò che sarebbe da intervistare il proprietario, in possesso di tante fotografie originali con al volante Nanni Galli. Chissà quante cose avrebbe da dirci, si potrebbe ripercorrere l'intera storia dell'auto. Per quanto riguarda il video, si, mi piace tirare giù qualche carico pesante senza avvisarvi 😂 così quando vi arriva la notifica strabuzzate gli occhi 😂 Ci tenevo molto a fare un bel video di questa macchina e devo dire che tutto il team ed il proprietario sono stati estremante gentili. La GTA non ha bisogno di presentazioni, regina indiscussa delle gare Turismo negli 60 ed inizio 70. Un gran pel pezzo di storia Alfa-Romeo.
@@Italiansupercarvideo I always think, that, if I'm a concourse judge, I would always give my highest score to the car whose owner keeps on racing... and even if the car is the best-looking one of the whole show, if the car had been out only for the concourse and locked up in some secret lair the rest of the year, it won't get any high score from me...
Congratulations on the wonderful car, if I could afford one like yours I wouldn't think twice about buying it. Having this type of Alfa Romeo in the garage is a dream. A lucky few can afford a GTA; I'd settle for much less. I like to insert subtitles; I want to give additional information. The owner was very nice to me, and he told me some things that he made me happy to share with you. Be proud of your Alfa Romeo; it's a fantastic car 😉👍
This is because the gear linkage is internal to the box not external as with most other cars. Note how far forward is the base of the lever. In the street cars this feature provides a delightfully tactile feel of the gears meshing. If one made a miss-shift, one would feel it with the fingertips before one heard it with the ears!
I think I can state without major denials that the Dutch, after the Italians, are the people in Europe who love Alfa Romeos the most. I'm pleased to see many of them arrive in Italy for gatherings and races with these beautiful cars 😉👍

Hard on the sinchros , why dont you double clutch downshift ??? These cars require this kind of tecnique both for duration of sincros and for optimal speed , control and quickest time.

Schönes Auto, die Schaltung find ich aber echt Grotte, die Schaltwege finde ich viel zu lang. In der Firma wo ich früher beschäftigt war haben wir ja Schaltungen konstruiert und gebaut. Da hatte ich immer Schaltungen mit Ultra kurzen Schaltwegen und auch speziellen Schaltknöpfen. Jetzt in der neuen Firma bauen wir Resonatoren um die Turbo-Geräusche zu verringern. Wie überflüssig, ein echter Tuner baut die erst mal wieder raus und macht ein gutes Blow off rein damit der Turbo richtig arbeiten kann.
Ich denke, die Hebelwirkung der Giulia GTAs hat sich im Laufe der Zeit verbessert. Das hier abgebildete Exemplar, alles original, ist eine erste Serie aus dem Jahr 1965. Damals hatten die Getriebe diesen langen Hub. Ich weiß es zu schätzen, dass der Besitzer nichts angerührt hat und nicht auf die Idee verwickelt war, eine Einheit mit kürzeren Vorbauten oder engeren Kupplungen zu montieren.

Da hatte dann BMW echt die Nase vorne. Schaltung über Stange und fast direkt am Getriebe zum Beispiel beim E36. Alle Hersteller wollten auch so direkt schalten können und BMW war der Benchmark. Mercedes hat da immer voll verkackt, deshalb waren dann fast alle großen MB mit Automat. Beim SLK hatten sie dann die BMW Schaltung fast kopiert, fast wie Chinesen! Lach..

Este coche es muy valioso y el propietario no es joven. Hay que tener respeto por estos coches, no es un GTA reconstruido sino el original de Nanni Galli. Tiene un valor muy alto, incluso históricamente.
