@@lain_1262 Yes sir, I'll be 80 in three months time and I'm still enjoing my rare steak with sprouts, still driving my 1972 Ford Escort Mk 1 and still servicing my woman three times a week.
I grew up as a small boy with these Alfa's. Our last one was sold forty years ago. Every time I see one it still gives me a thrill. Quite simply one of the sexiest cars ever , the sound of that engine flat out is amazing.
If any “car enthusiast” thinks that electric cars will EVER replace this, I don’t give a fat rats clacker if they do 0-100 in -1 sec, they are fools ! FOOLS ! The modern car can’t even replace this, aural, visceral, beautiful delight !!!!!!!!!!!!!
That’s what horse drawn chariot riders used to say about cars! I love Alfa’s, had a GTV6 for 18 years, now a Giulia, but I know we can’t stop progress, things change and we find new passions and beauty in change as well

GTAM was never a cheap car....it was made as a factory race car with aluminum body and all kinds of trick gear. But your are right....a regular GTV is a fantastic car.

All this eco friendly talk is fine. But someone should actually assess the impact of the energy and methods used to make batteries. And someone should speak about the disposal of the said batteries. So it isn’t as if Electric Vehicles are completely Saintly and Fossil Fuels are completely Devilish. So lets not kid ourselves....
This car is my passion since 1974. I'm 67 years old now, and I still dream about having it one day.

There is just something in the olive oil from Italy that must inspire the Italian engineers to produce such passionate products.

Now, THIS is proper racing. The flexibility these old cars offered is just amazing, not like the modern shit that's gigantic and heavy as lead.
What a marvellous design have this car. I won't bet up with, even all the cars running around were the same model.
I'm a Porsche guy but always felt I should have gotten one of these when they were cheap.

Hah? An Alfa Romeo GTA/GTAM cost more than a street Porsche 911.
