- There's a neighborhood tucked away in East Orlando. It's called Avalon Park. Known for it's sense of community and neo-urbanism design, it's easy to see why so many want to call it home. Today I'm giving you the back story, real estate examples, and interviewing people on the street!
Thinking of making a move to/from Orlando? My team would love to be your real estate resource of choice! Email me at info@pozekgroup.com

Hi!! I actually live in Avalon park. When you entered the market place there was a group of abt 5-6 women sitting at a table. They were actually teachers that work at Avalon elementary!!!
Ken, you don't get enough credit where it counts...your audio is always spot on, your B roll is pleasant and relevant, your background music is not overbearing or obnoxious and you don't dwell too long on any one topic. So very well done, every time!
My team is always pushing to fine tune these videos. Super lucky to work with them. Appreciate the kind words, Joel!
I'm even seeing other real estate agents copy his style.
Some are straight of ripping us off. That’s ok though 😜
@@kenpozek don’t worry we know who the true OG is 💪

Thank you for this video. It was providence. I often wondered why you’d never done a video on Avalon Park. My kids and I fell in love with the community last Fall and we just closed on our townhouse in AP yesterday. I was determined to live here. The schools are amazing. The neighborhood just has a wonderful feel.
Downsides? Our proximity to the eyesore powerplant smokestacks. May remind you of the Simpsons. But you don’t see them when you’re living in the community going about your business. Also, they could use a 24-hour fitness center. The YMCA has horrible hours.
Other than that, absolutely love it. I have a 60-mile (each way) commute to work everyday and it’s worth it to smile when I come home.
That’s amazing to hear. Congrats on the new home 🏡
The restaurant that the lady is talking about is South Philly steaks the one with egg rolls and hamburgers. On Avalon Park Boulevard and Avalon Lake Drive
Need to check this out!
Love this area. Had family that used to live there. Marketplace has awesome food. Something for everyone. Great community, family friendly area.
Yes I love this area !
Great video, Avalon Park is a beautiful area.
The downtown area is really nice! Those kids on the last interview reminded me of growing up with my older brother :-).
They cracked me up 😂
Beautiful place!!
Loved this video! Every time you're in a different neighborhood I'm changing my mind!
Hard to choose!
Yes. One of the nicest areas of Orlando. Thank you for listening to your viewers.
Absolutely! What should we do next?!
@@kenpozek Waterford Lakes area including the huge town center which is also convinient for people that live in Avalon Park.
Great video. Just outside of Avalon park is also a new project by East. They plan to expand and make a mini Avalon park there with commercial , parks, homes etc.
That area definitely has more room to grow. Given the location it makes a lot of sense!
I love my community!!! is the best
Hey Ken! Did Wedgefield catch your eye yet? It's right next to Avalon Park and the zip code is still Orlando.
Lmao
We live here and we love Avalon Park ❤️
So awesome to hear!
We are moving there next week! So excited! ❤
So many cool new urbanism areas! Interested to see how EverBe by Pulte fits into this new urbanism vibe.
I’ve been following the permitting on that one for a while. It’s such a remarkable area (not much new competition, located near everything, with pricing cheaper than Lake Nona). I hope they execute well.
Hope you’re feeling better
Is this considered the suburbs of Orlando? We are looking to move from Texas and we want to move to the suburbs. Would this be the best area? Please help. Ty.
My new neighborhood
Welcome 🏡
Hey Ken,
Is this convenient to living and working in the Melbourne area? Moving in a month to the area.
It’d be an hour drive.
Can you do a video on Colonial Town/Audubon Parkway
Was trying to figure out how to do the bungalow/parks areas in one video.
Colonialtown, college park, Thornton park, Delaney park, etc
Real estate is tight in Colonial Town and Audubon Park but I think the areas will highlight what’s in Orlando besides the parks the restaurants in those areas are amazing
What was happening on the left at 8:01 😂
Something new about Davenport, please?
It’s crowded, schools aren’t great, lots of traffic
That kid has been watching too many Liam Neeson movies lol
Good luck finding a house there. No inventory, no one wants to move from there, it's paradise.
I love Avalon park hated the coal plant down the street
Coal plant? 😬
Meh I'll pass. Too far from everything. Lake Eola is where its at. Or just to the north or south of it.
Avalon Park just added a Vape shop... don't move here. The writing is on the walls.
