      Yes... Looking at this from Europe. If the US doesn't get back in the fact based world, the US is going to be what takes down western civilization. - and (when speaking of climate change) ... the rest of the planet too.

      The USA did the same to Russia, sorry to burst your bubble Americans, but you did the same thing in the 90's when Bill Clinton had Boris Yeltsin as his puppet in Russia. Now Russia is doing the same to you, you know what they say about karma.

      Peter Mogensen looking at this from europe and saying the states will be the downfall of the west is pretty hilarious when you consider two of the top countries in the EU (countries who carry the most expense) france and germany are facing massive issues with migrants, which is a big reason england is now out. Focus on the problems your own continent faces rather than take shots at a country which has now taken measures not to end up like europe.

      M Ragunathan NO not the same Russia was ending one governing system and starting a new one. Completely differently we did not invade their already stable country/government. We were asked to lend aid to them as were most western European countries.

    It takes the vision of one to see many but it takes the vision of many to see the world. United we can never be divided, and being divided we can never stand as one. The greatest and longest standing struggle amongst people is that of power, and now only a few hold great power while the many feel powerless. Either humanity stands together and blossoms into something more than just basic nature, or be devoured by its own hunger and lust for all things basic, instinctive and primal. May God have mercy on us all. We'll need it for what is yet to come.

    One bone I have to pick with Bill. He really doesn't seem to understand polling. GA-6 was expected to be very close. Most polls had him ahead but very, very narrowly. In the end he lost by about 4 points. That's well within the margin of error. He basically got the same percentage of the vote that he did in round one. Meanwhile, that same day in South Caroline, the Democratic candidate lost by about 4 points, which was far better than anyone ever expected.

    It's defined behaviorally as cognitive dissonance. The human mind can filter and overlook, obfuscate, or just outright deny, seemingly obvious facts to most Observers. Whether it is because of their own personal biases, beliefs, or just pride. This kind of cognitive disassociation can often leads to more severe mental health issues.

    Lavrov told the funniest joke in response to a request to comment on (for the hundredth time) on whether or not Russia had hacked the election. Goes like this.
    A Russian comes to Monte Carlo to gamble, sits down with a local whale to play Black Jack. The local gambler claims:
    "I have 21!"
    "Show me!", the Russian asks
    "Here in Monte Carlo we're accustomed to taking a gentleman up on his word!", the Monte Carlian replies
    And what do you know, all of a sudden at that point the Russian got on a hot streak...

      Because in truth you can't really do anything that wouldn't resulting in actually helping the GOP with an election, if you make it public, it will have the opposite effect, if you try to have homeland security forcibly intervene... the GOP will use it as evidence & accuse the presidency of trying to rig the election (something they already do without evidence). They are the beneficiary of such things... people who complain that he didn't do anything, didn't seem to have consider whether if he did do something, it will still deliver the result Russia wants.

    • @sirus804
      @sirus804 7 років тому +16

      The FBI, CIA, and NSA don't release what they know to the public unless they know they're hitting the last nail in the coffin. You somehow know that the FBI, CIA, and NSA isn't already on this? We have our own spies and espionage tactics as well. Stupid assumption to make that they don't know about it. Don't fuck with our intelligence communities. Not even the President is safe from them and the power they truly hold.

    • @SomeUserNameBlahBlah
      @SomeUserNameBlahBlah 7 років тому +1

      +sirus804: They can't release Facebook profiles which are already publicly listed for all to see? So the Russians supposedly pushed propaganda through Facebook and the media? Isn't this exactly what the Clinton machine did with the MSM and Facebook? You think our intelligence agencies are telling the truth about Russia, just like they told the truth about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? Don't be so naive.
      Clinton was already shown to have taken millions in donations from Russian banks and she also sold 20% of America's Uranium supply to Russia (yes, look it up - it's true). It seems to me that the Russians and Clintons have a history of being friendly and that if the Russians interfered that it would be to help Hillary.

      Im no expert on foreign policy, so take my shitty UA-cam comment section opinion with a grain of salt.
      Weaken the US/west via cyber ops and hacking to such a degree that they fight against each other (leaving room to further infiltrate elections and elect more Russian-backed candidates). Slowly turning the US or any other compromised countries into Russian puppets (would take at least a decade). From there? Who knows. But it won't be pretty.
      Either way, we know the Russians have a legitimate *army* of trolls manipulating people at the level of the *individual* which is 1984 levels of scary.

    I'm Russian, and whenewer I hear about this hacking story I keep wondering about the same thing. Not even about the shoddy proof of it but about the whole idea in general.
    We are a barely developing nation with the population of ~140 million people. You Americans are the richest, most powerful country on Earth with the population of over 300 million, that created and currently mantains nearly everything related to computers. The computers themselves, the internet, the software, the hardware. You have large institutions watching over what everyone does on the internet. You have perhaps the largest amount of the most qualified experts.
    How were we ever able to do this while you not only couldn't defend yourself, but seem to be unable to do anything to us?

      There are so many contexts to which that statement applies. Personally, I believe its about Trump's direct relationship to Russia (I don't think there is a DIRECT link between Trump and Russia, otherwise I believe it would have been found already). Its a fact that Russia tampered with the election, but what is under question is how far it has gone and is it directly linked with Trump. Please watch the video interview of Van Jones, listen to the question and his answer - neither are very specific and have been edited. Please attempt to do some research before throwing blanket quotes out....

      Why do you think yogurts and other products are advertised in the media, including online? Bc it increases their sales numbers, same goes for political Ads (disguised as memes/trolls and what not) DUH
      And before condescendingly yakking with more ignorant anti-Americanism clichés, at least learn what you're talking about ffs! FYI Clinton won the popular vote. Google "rust belt strategy", read a fricking book about US Presidential elections, ask questions...... Deliberate ignorance's a waste to humanity, no matter the citizenship of the lazy human wallowing in it.
