kids, ALWAYS remove the play head from the ribbon before fast-forwarding or rewinding. It may be easier to see where you are going, but the extra friction will wear out your tapes faster
@@deku_might0896 A VCR can record any video footage given to it, you just have to use an adapter from HDMI to AV. The only problem is finding a blank tape to record on. There also might be copy protection on modern formats. I have never recorded any tape, but I've connected several retro consoles to it and output it to HDMI to my capture card, my VCR has native HDMI output.
