Would it cost 10 thousand dollars? No. It was a scam period. 10 thousand dollars is rich living in Africa/India, for that matter the nature of such costumes would be less expensive in usd, mainly when of such quality. 10 thousand dollars in the US alone will lend you a full fursuit with many additional features and maybe realistic fur. What he got looked like a "what does the fox say" cosplay rip-off on ebay.

Kenny was lucky to have both the artist and the fursuit maker all within a reasonable distance! I personally had to go on a multi-year expedition across uncharted terrain to find an artist. Currently I'm waiting for the Beringia land bridge to resurface so I can finally travel to a fursuit maker.

After all, there are less than 5% straight people in the furry fandom, the 2020 study (where 10.1% are heterosexual) from fur science did not take into account cisgender people, and if you take an average value, you get about 5% (cisgender people in the furry fandom are less than 80%). If you really think that furries are not part of and not an offshoot of lgbt+, then name 5-7 creative furries (who make videos, art, music, comics, etc) on twitter, youtube, insta, etc. Who are both straight(not ally, as that is part of lgbt+)and cisgender
