Join us for a visit to Boggy Creek for an Airboat ride and to explore the park and attraction itself. We take a 30 minute ride on the Airboat to see Alligators in the wild and in their natural habitat on a unique Air Powered boat!

Looks like a great experience Andrew and Laura. Thanks for sharing and beautifully filmed. I think you would need to be constantly on your guard though and have eyes in the back of your head to check if the gators were creeping up on you for dinner. Shame about the Guide’s lack of information but you set the bar high with your excellent information packed FREE commentary! Well done.

The last time i went to boggy creek was a few years ago and they have done it up by the looks of it, and the guide was very funny and with some good info but can't remember if that was 1 hour or not great vid keep them coming⭐

We’ve done air boat rides at Wild Florida numerous times. Really good - we did early morning (best time) and they told us about the history of the lake, told us about the different trees and other wildlife including taking us to an eagle’s nest where we saw eagles 🦅 We saw plenty of large and baby gators and even turtles. They have animals there that you can feed and interact with. Great day out 😀
100% agree with this! Wild Florida was great. The guide showed us so much more than just gators. Having the wildlife park with so many different animals too was great. Not sure if they still do it but booking wild Florida through virgin got you a whole experience including the air boat trip, wildlife park access with a guided tour and buffet lunch.
Thats what we hoped for this time

years ago I went to a Gator-farm, and fanboat.
It was fun, they gave me a baby alligator 🐊 to hold.
And back then they were wrestling Gator's.
Prices were also reasonable.
But these days, prices are going through the roof, and the experience isn't great ether.
But as you said, you had a bit of bad luck.
I admire your optimism, and still had a good time 👍
Hope to see you both in June, when we go to Tenerife.

For your next Florida vacation, try Wild Willy's Airboats. They're located in east Kissimmee / St. Cloud ,on lake Toho.. Early tour, one hour , as you mentioned. Thx for the vlogs, very much appreciated. We're going next August.

I’ve done wild Florida airboat rides. We did the hour one. Your get access to the wildlife park and an airboat ride. We saw all sorts of wildlife. Bold eagle turtles alligators and even cows 🐄

We love airboat rides, we’ve done both boggy creek sites, only ever done the half hour trip and both the captains gave us loads of info. We tried wild Florida earlier this month and it was great!!! It also has a mini park next to it with gators and birds ect in which Is free and it has free shows too. It also has a safari next to it which you pay extra for, we didn’t visit there so unable to comment.
Did wild florida last time and it was good, wanted to try boggy creek as it was the most recommended
That looks like lots of fun. If you’ve never eaten gator, it’s a must try. So good! Also, next time you’re across spend at least a day in St Augustine, it’s a beautiful city rich in history…even got an authentic British pub (not that you’d be interested in that I’m sure, it’s more for us ex-pats). So much more than just a beach town although that’s gorgeous too. Glad you both made it home safely. Hope Felix is doing better. ❤️❤️

So we did boggy creek in 2016 on a tour Inc gatorland,we got dropped ofd mid morning and think our ride was 11am,we had a great guide and he keep stopping to talk about the wildlife birds etc but the only disappointment was the only one gator we saw was a tiny one about 10 inches long but still a good experience,the place is definitely alot bigger with more stuff to do there now,my missus had a photograph of her holding a biggish gator and think we paid 10 dollars for it,great vlog guys,thankyou 👍

I did the sunset tour here in September 2019, just over an hour long and it did feature all the things you said were missing (more wildlife info, more stopping for pictures etc). I think the half hour tour might be a bit too short to expect everything.

Looked a good trip to try but as you said would have seen more Gators in the morn and would have helped if the guide was more informative , still nice to do something different than parks 👍😊

I think, regardless of the length of trip, they should give you some information about the wildlife and area, would make the trip more memorable for you.

We have done a couple of airboat rides one of which was a private one (just Me and my family). We wouldn’t personally rush back to do another one as they aren’t that exciting, but your guide was very poor not pointing out anything about the wildlife etc (but he was still happy to take tips for doing very little). We are happy to accept the tipping culture, but only when they make an effort (I wouldn’t have tipped your airboat driver/guide).

Not wild though its more of a zoo
We don’t like them gator wrestling for crowd entertainment and taping gators mouths up for photo opportunities to make more money with no regard for the wild animals welfare.

I have no desire at all to do it. It seems far too commercialised to me.
We’ve done a couple of airboat tours and they aren’t that exciting so don’t try and convince your family to do one or they might not thank you for it😀.
They are a fun experience

It can be frustrating when the commentary is disappointing. The only bird in your vlog that I could see on the boat trip is the heron, which is a Great Blue Heron. Prior to that, the black starling like birds look like Common grackles.
There were more that i couldnt film because the boat was going too fast
Locks
There are no locks on the airboat tours in Florida, but loads of locks on the non tidal Thames.
