true story. my mate used to go to the races dogs and horses. he would hide a microphone on the bookies stall and listen to them chatting about the animals in the races and talking about the ones that had chances abd no chances he made quite a bit of money
Love this program makes me sad seeing the east end now watching this makes me feel like a eastender again and the poor dock yards and the docklands arena and dog racing a thing of the past in east end now days
Eddie Tagoe is a really interesting guy. He was in Withnail and I. The Dogs of War and Raiders Of the Lost ark among others but trained as a Reflexologist and was working at Newcastle United in that profession.
Treva Etienne , Stretch sidekick went on to much bigger things and is an Actor, Producer and a director and his latest project was the film Silent Twins. Also played Tony in Londons Burning.
I loved this show when i was a youth, not many people remember it. Thanks for sharing.

has changed so much was down that way last summer and i used to work in silvertown. live out of london now
