  • I have been trying many different ways to keep my shop heated throughout the winter and this is by far the fastest way I have found to get the cold out!

Amazing results from that little heater.
Also, great idea with the foil insulation.
    Thanks for sharing.

I run an 80,000 BTU Dyna Glo heater on diesel fuel and it takes about 15 minutes to get it up to 65 in my 24' x 32' shop. It hardly has to ever run after the initial run because it's insulated. You should have no problem heating our shop with that heater.

I was debating on getting one of the larger ones 120k+ btu but ya, no need to waste money on that. These little ones are plenty for a shop.

Nice presentation, thanks for the info. Perhaps some air circulation to even things out?

Yes, I do have a box fan up in the corner of the shop that I forgot to turn on but you are 100% correct!

On startup you can smell it the most but then once it is burning it seams to burn very thorough so there isn't much fumes after that. Compared to what my father had inside the garage when we were growing up this is much more efficient and quieter.

This unit is safe to use indoors with no ventilation?

It would be smart to use a carbon monoxide in your shop. I haven't had any issues yet with it
