In the master shower, a full bench would have been a more functional design than a one cheek seat, lol! Also, in the beautiful basement, it would have been nice if you had shown the bar area up close instead of the viewing at the distance we got, then zipping past it! Lastly, for such an extravagant home wire racks for shelving is just a no no and didn't do the home justice!! It's still a gorgeous home, though!
This home is much more to my liking. Many of the homes you tour are absolutely beautiful, but a little too fancy for me. I like this one. It feels more livable, like a real home. I prefer the stairs here. And I really prefer not having any suicide bridges or over looks. With young children those two story over looks just seem like a bad idea. Plus those soaring two story rooms are hard to heat! Yes, this one seems much more livable!
For million dollar homes, I would expect more fancy finishes like moulding to set things off. I love pocket doors because it seems less boxed in. Doors get in the way
That's what I was going to say, too. At first glance, I thought they were just weird little recesses on either side of the fireplace, but when he came back to them and said what they were, I thought that was a clever and unique bit of design that I hadn't seen before. I don't have a problem with staircases being out and a visible feature in a home, but having them tucked and hidden away like that is novel.
Why do expensive houses use those crappy shelves like they have in the pantry in this house? You’re paying almost $2 million for a house and you get crappier shelves than what my parents have in a 30-year-old house that cost less than $200,000 when they bought it
Not my favorite home but does have some redeeming qualities. I like the kitchen enough and the storage it has as well as the two pantry areas. Like the front 1/2 bath and coat closet. The archway that gives semblance of separation between the living room and kitchen. The pocket office is good feature and the dining room is nice because you actually do have wall space to put a China hutch/Cabinet and buffet. The added Den or keeping room with stone fireplace very nice. I like that all the bedrooms have a bathroom and the laundry room has a nice sink and two windows that open. The built in linen cabinets or closets are great. Just think this home could use a main floor laundry area even if in the front butler's Pantry - plenty of room and a nice guest suite would have been nice. The lower basement I thought was done very nice and the only thing I would change is that Golf area, not sure what but maybe a pool table and air hockey table in that spot. A dog was would be great too to have in this home, maybe in the last unfinished space. The living room was too Stark and glarey and maybe if some colors and window treatments it would look more attractive to me, the great architecture features kinda fell short due to how the room ambiance or lack there of felt to me. . The basement area even though finished in creams too felt more welcoming .
1.8 mil and the Jack and Jill bath for the kids will be a nightmare. I don't understand why they design these types of bathrooms without a separate shower/toilet area! Start counting now for how many times your kids are fighting because the other one didn't unlock the door when they were done.....
Hey Timothy, been following you for a while now. My down time is watching your videos. They are so relaxing. I watch other home videos, but none are compared to your videos. Thank you for every little detail and not rushing through the video. :)
The simulator area would be my stereo/computer area and the bedroom would be eliminated and the bar pushed back so I could have some pinball machines and a jukebox in that middle area with some nice leather chairs and low tables for drinks and snacks. I absolutely loved the use of either side of the fireplace in the livingroom for the stairway's to the opposite floors. Finally a designer that doesn't make that space useless with shelves to house clutter and dust.
Hey Tim! You're looking thinner my brother. Love, love, love this place! It's so unique, and the way the upstairs is laid out with the long hallway, gives it an apartment feel. This is my favorite of 2024 so far!
I’d make the office the laundry room, and hang the clothes outside through the door. This home flow seemed very British, but obviously much bigger and with a basement (which I’d turn into a self contained flat).
Timothy?? This home is very stately!! It has a style and flair to it!! In all of the rooms including The Kitchen and The Laundry Room is just awesome!! The Bedrooms and Bathrooms and The Upstairs and The Garage is so well designed!! The Living Room through The Family Room are very beautiful!! You keep upping your game!! Keep it up!! Thank You!!❤
I think when you spend that much money on a house; that you can at least have wooden shelves in the closets and pantry rather than that ugly cheap looking wire racks.
A beautiful home. Bowling alley would be something I would love along with a pool table. If I could have anything a swimming pool. Might as well shoot for the moon.
This home is spectacular and one of the most interesting layouts! The design and placement of each room were well thought out, just WOW! The only thing is I prefer a master to be split from the rest! I absolutely love how each of the bedrooms had their own Bathrooms as well as large closets! I so love all the outside spaces to enjoy different functions! The butlers pantry is also a nice touch, as is the additional closet pantry space, which one can never have enough pantry space! I especially love the kirchen, which has it all and is any woman's dream kitchen! They really knocked this one out of the ball park. Well done!! The only thing I'm wondering is what the square footage was and the house plan to view? It would have been nice if those would have been included as well as the price! once again, what a spectacular home!
REALLY like this home! Something else I like is that there are a lot of rooms and spaces that (for this setup) I don't particularly like, but it still gives you good ideas on what you COULD do! 🙌🏽
Gorgeous home. Has everything you would need & there is so much storage! 👏🏻no ice machine would be the only thing I see missing. It might be in the fridge.
@@TimothyPLivingstonIt's not just for your guests but for the owners of the home that just come home from school or shopping etc. I know a lot of them park their car(s) in the garage and go to the washroom closest to the garage door coming into the house. Your children and guests would be coming in the front door.
Wassup Tim?! I just love the basement, not only would I do a room with a bowling alley, but I'd also a room with a pool table, dart board and a work room for crafting and some woodworking maybe, I definitely love all the fireplaces big fan of the stone work, and also the pantries,
I thought that the Master Bedroom and Bathroom were small considering the price starting at $1.8 Mil. Loved the Basement, Screen in Patio, Exterior decks, Garage, and the furnishings. I would purchase the model as is😊
Looks wonderful; the only things I wish were different were if you could not see the living room & kitchen from the front door or foyer and a media/network room for any audio and video equipment for the house to be in a centralized room.

I like the bowling alley idea. Love this house. Needs two ovens though. I would make the shower in the master bath a bit smaller, put the cabinet next to it and put a makeup vanity where the cabinet is
I really enjoyed this home. Yes some finishes and fixtures I would alter a bit but the floor plan was great. Small little foyer and YES put the powder room off and away from the living areas. Let your guests door their thing in private . And it had a window in there so even better And nice to see a new house where all the bedrooms are upstairs. Of ur older and kids are mid teens, great. Get a house with a main floor master. But if u are a young family with smaller kids, def better to have all the rooms upstairs. And to those who don’t live in states with real winters, carpet is a good thing in the bedrooms. Keeps everything warmer. I’d actually cut that pocket office in half or get rid of it. Make it a second powder room or full bath. It’s also aways from the living areas. Give it a big walk in shower that u can use as a dog bath station. Right off the garage etc. bedrooms were nice. Basement was nice. That can be a private guest suite area With the small kitchen and bath and bedroom. I’d personally swap the golf area and put in a nice pool table. Overall great floor plan and spaces. Good one Timmy!
Glad you went back to the old camera, much easier to watch. I do have to give you a hard time though, you forgot to step down into the area with the big golf simulator. Was curious what that looked like. Otherwise great job once again.
Hi Timothy, I'm Jaymie from Armadale in Scotland, I'm new to your channel, I've only just discovered it and I'm absolutely loving your videos, totally fell in love with the six bed home with the basketball court and dog washing facility, homes I could only dream of but yeah, love your channel
I honestly feel like this is the best home I have seen in a long time, honestly I would just have a movie space the theatre type thing or another place to hang out and play games like board games or card games I like the golf sim but I’d like for there be the option to change it for more seating and hang out for the whole family. I’d like it to be more flexible than just a solid state type of room.
This home is Gorgeous and the decor, layout, and design is perfect!!! I would change the golf simulator to a pool table area and keep the workout room. Big massive shout-out to the designer builders and Timothy for sharing this beautifully designer home with us. I rate it a 15❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I think that one room you called a separate pantry is probably more suited to be a coat room and boot room. Looked like I saw hanging space, and those shelves just didn't look like they were set up with food storage in mind. This home was a really nice floor plan. Instead of a golf simulator in the basement, I would probably opt for a hobby/craft/sewing space. Or could be a home theater, but there are already a lot of other places to watch TV in the home. I wonder if that beautiful landscape is going to stay that way, or will more development happen?
Interesting style and layout! Office off the kitchen, great for storing all of the cook book collection. Jumping up to the second floor, the landing sitting area is nice but a bit redundant. As for the Jack and Jill bathroom, the toilet area should have been boxed in so another individual could use the bathroom at the same time. I have the same basic setup in a pair of bedrooms but I have left enough room to close off the toilet any time or to even go to the extent of dividing that bathroom into two individual baths.
I absolutely really love the layout of this place and the exterior of it. I have some ideas for the basement area that I won't get into. I would like to a 2-sided fireplace with the living area and master bedroom or just a fireplace in the master bedroom itself. That would be neat. ❤❤❤❤❤

I had little problems with the second story, the master bath was a little small, but that's it.
