The Lowkey diss for Chip was in 2010, 14 years ago when Chip still called himself Chipmunk 😆 but the clashes with Bugzy & Yungen was 5/6 years after that, Chip has grown from his chipmunk days
So this is my favourite old skool grime beat of all time. Kano used it years ago on his track called mic check on one of the best albums of all time. ‘Home sweet Home’.
Also worth checking out is Wileys Brother Cadell (who stormzy keeps referencing) released a diss track for stormzy too called World War 3

Wiley wasn't trying to say that Skepta ghostwrote for Stormzy, he was just purely saying he would be nothing without Skepta, because Skepta would bring him to perform at some shows while Stormzy wasn't well known, helped Stormzy get a name for himself waaaaaaaaay before he got the fame.

Its a Cup of Tea that hes holding my guys, Stormzy prides himself with his british image and UK celebs/artists which clashes with the whole grime rap feel which makes it epic

"Sip my Tetley, take a toke" was originally a Wiley lyric and Stormzy used it then in Wiley Flow. Hence the Mug & joint in both vids

It starts 9 years ago Chip Fire in the Booth - Charlie Sloth… there’s a lot of music to get through, but well worth the journey ending with Chips 10 Commandments. Yes Stormzy did come back a year later with an epic response and video… but lyrically chip won.
Long story short, after this stormzy went onto headline at Glastonbury and Wiley became an Antisemite.
