This was meant to pay homage to Wiley but he took it as a diss and sent for Stormzy
its weird cos wiley made a song called p money flow which was homage to p money, so this was clearly homage to wiley imo

This is a homage to Wiley, it’s Wiley speaking at the start of the song, and if you listen to a Wiley song called bad em up quite a few of the flow pattern and lyrics are similar to that

I think Wiley just used stormzy's relevancy at the time to garner some mainstream attention and kick off for the fun of it months later - Wiley is the king of doing that. - I don't think the beef was ever really real in Wiley's head. - Though it would have annoyed/disappointed Stormzy as he looks up to people like Wiley as the godfather and knows Wiley opened doors.

This track its self was not a diss to Wiley, he was actually paying respect to Wiley, but Wiley saw a chance to get his name back out there, and went at Stormzy after this song. (Wiley went broke quite a while ago, but he used to be one of the top 3 biggest UK rappers, now he's one of UK's biggest laughing stocks.) There are lots of conversation about Wiley going downhill and having a bad drug problem.
Wiley saw a chance to get his name back out there, which worked for a little bit, this was a big deal at the time and some people started taking Wiley seriously again. Since then, Wiley has gone back down a negative route and has gone back to being a laughing stock.
