Flying Effects and Stunt Rigging

This is really cool. Who controlled the strings? Just asking because in figure skating you need someone to pull the strings and in this video it looks like he lifted by himself

i just want to get rich enough in life that i can buy a warehouse set up a bunch of fly and stunt rigging stuff then fly and flip around all day long, just making 60 ft jumps across the room and sh**!

I understand how the wires are masked out, but how do you get rid of the rigging on his clothes?

I think they usually are underneath the actors clothing like under a jacket or they shoot it in such a way that the harness is easy to mask. Also most modern harness look more like a super thin bullet proof vest and can even be hidden under a T-SHIRT so only the wire sticks out. Just my guesses but if this is what they used for Peter pan then stunt rigging had surely gotten smaller and easier to paint out. Hope this helps!

do you think stunt rigs could make it look like someone is walking? Like they are in a wheelchair but the movie, or whatever needs them to walk would it be possible?

Definitely, if it holds you slightly above the ground and you shoot it against a green/blue screen have a clean plate with the same camera motion
